We used them last weekend for our annual Christmas event. Reserved their largest party bus- a "42" person party bus. LUCKILY, we had 8 people who were sick and couldn't make the event. There was barely enough room for the 34 people we did have. We might have had enough room for two more very small sized people, but nowhere near 42 people would've fit on that bus.
The driver did a good job getting us to our different stops. He was nice and polite. The only issue that is out of line and ridiculous as all heck is the mandatory 20% tip that is due BEFORE YOUR EVENT EVEN HAPPENS. (Approx $350 for our event) If the service is not stellar, it doesn't matter, because we've already paid the tip-they've really got no incentive to do a good job. Luckily we had no problem.
Please note that on the contract, the tip is referred to as the "tip". On the receipt, the tip is referred to as a "service charge". The driver may or may not try and tell you that there was no "tip"applied, and request a tip in cash at the end of the night. We almost double tipped our driver because he said there was no "tip" added on the card. That's because the wording is changed from "TIP" to reflect a "service fee" on the receipt instead.

Great service! Scheduled 6 days in advance. Stretch Chrysler 300. Great communication from Joey leading up to our event. Seth was our driver and he was also great. Texted before arrival and was right on time. He texted us the pickup location after our event downtown and it went perfectly smoothly. I'll definitley use them again. Top notch!

Stay away! Was quoted $350 for a one way trip to a concert. Got billed an extra $700 for two hours of "overtime". They said it should only take 30 minutes to get from Cactus/Scottsdale to Rawhide Chandler, so I was responsible for any extra time after that. What? That would be a tough drive in a sports car with no traffic, let alone in a stretch limo during rush hour to a concert venue.
So I ended up paying $1,050 for a one way trip less than 3 hours. Ridiculous. Do not use these guys, they are clearly only interested in collecting as many dollars as possible! If you choose to proceed, you better read all of their terms & conditions very carefully, because these guys obviously don't care about making their customers happy or potential future business. One complaint can be overlooked, but please read all the complaints on this board before calling these guys.

This place is an absolute rip off. I spent over 1000$ on a bus that was supposed to come fully stocked. What showed up was a bus with water and a driver who had no idea what he was doing. I repeatedly ask the driver to stop putting directions into his map as cell phones do not work in Maricopa and instead I would give him directions to where we needed to go.
After 3 failed attempts he finally decided to listen to me and take me to my daughter's school. We go to the school late and had to park the bus on the street and have my daughter walk over versus parking in front like we planned because the cars picking up students beat us to the school. Next, we drove to McDonald's to purchase some snacks for the kids on board.
When we were ready to leave the driver told me that we needed to wait for him because he ordered food and wanted to wait for it this made us late picking up our last person. Once we had all aboard the driver AGAIN did not know where he was going instead of asked where to go he drove around Maricopa for 20 additional minutes trying to figure out how to get back to the highway.
Once at the party location the driver told us he had to leave and would be back at 715 to pick us up. during the course of the night, we told the owner of the company Joey we would like 1 additional hour and that we would like to be picked up from the front at 8pm. The driver did not show up until 8:23pm we drove home and I provided him with a tip begrudgingly because I too work in the service industry and feel that not tipping is not ok. 3 days later I received an additional bill for 400 dollars auto billed to my credit card for 2 hours or 400$ versus the agreed upon 200$ Today someone from their company called and basically said we are sorry but this is your fault so you have to pay!

Joey and Frank were awesome in helping us on short notice! With a bachelor party of 20, we were able to get an awesome party bus within a couple of hours. They were constantly communicating with us to let us know where the bus was in route and followed up with me to make sure we were completely satisfied. They went above and beyond! Thank you guys! I host a numerous amount of corporate events for my office, and I have to ensure that everything, including transpiration, goes off without a hitch. Joey from Platinum Rides was so helpful and professional with helping me execute our latest and biggest corporate event. He answered my questions immediately and I did not have to worry about any of the details of our request falling through the cracks.

I hired platinum rides to take my daughter out for her 10th birthday. I have been going through breast cancer treatment and she has been through a lot this year so I wanted to do something extra special for her. I have never rented a limo before. Frank was wonderful in helping me select something she would love! He listened to me tell him about my daughter (she is super fancy).
And the price was very reasonable. Steven the driver was wonderful! He made my daughter feel very special! I would definitely recommend platinum rides to friends and family! Thank you Frank and Steven!

Do not hire this company. We contacted Platinum Rides for an estimate and they gave us the hard sell. They seemed like nice people, told us it was a family business whose goal is to accommodate their customers but that's all part of their scheme. We agreed on a price of $600 for a pickup/drop off. It was an outrageous price tag to begin with but we thought it would be a fun experience with our friends.
What the driver doesn't make clear is if you make even one stop, they charge you a wait fee of $600. In total, we were charged $1,200 for 60 minutes in the limo. That's $20 a minute. The driver had us sign a receipt (in the dark) once we were dropped off. He said it was just a confirmation receipt saying that we successfully arrived at our destination.
Apparently that signature gave them the right to charge the credit card on file the additional $600. We called them and said we understood why there was a fee but that $1,200 for 60 minutes was price gouging. They were rude, unprofessional and completely unwilling to bring the fee down. We wish we would have read ALL of their reviews because it's clear this isn't the first time they've done this to their customers (and their "fees" are getting higher and higher). We're reporting them to the BBB. We have lawyers involved. So many great options in Scottsdale for a limo service - don't use these guys. You will get ripped off.

Called a couple limo services.as maid of honor this night had to be flawless. Platinum ride had the best limo at the best price. Our driver, Doug (Dougie) showed up not only on time for every single stop but a little early to begin so I could finish paper work since I am from the east coast. He was a gentleman with a sense of humor and super savvy definitely knew his way around to get us to the next place quickly and was readily available when we wanted to leave a club asap!
He made my best friends bachelorette party super special. The only thing I could possibly complain about was I wish we could have rented it for longer! Seriously. Awesome service.

I set a reservation up with Frank and Joey for a 30th Birthday Party for my wife. It was one of the best experiences ever! Charles was a very safe driver and had everything we needed when we boarded the bus. I have to admit that the bus was a better experience than the night club that we had gone to that night. My wife told me it was a birthday party that would be hard to top! I definitely will recommend Platinum Ride Limos to all of my friends and colleagues as well as use them again in the future.

Called around a bit to get a great price and I did. Along with that I got great follow up and communication. My birthday went great the limousine ws so much fun stereo was awesome. Just had a blast. Great experience all the way! I planned a last minute birthday party for my son. I had 13 eleven yr old boys to take from all the way up in Cave Creek to Camelback to play paint ball. I had no way to transport so I thought a limo would be fun. I planned this 2 days before the event and received EXCELLENT fast service online from their website by Joey.
Unlike other companies there was an immediate quote from their website and I could book quickly. It is a family owned business and I got a great rate. Lonnie our driver was awesome! He was helpful unloading gear and very patient with our crazy group. If I ever need a limo I will be calling Joey! Thanks guys!

We used Platinum Rides for our wedding and was thrilled with the experience! We used their party bus for our transportation to our reception site and then a private car service for our ride after the reception. Both drivers were great! Our party bus driver was so helpful and accommodating! Our late night driver was so nice too! We couldn't be happier with our choice and we highly recommend this company!

Talk about a low rate, non-customer focused company, IMO Platinum Ride Limo sets the bar as being the worst. Having arranged and dealt with many limo services, all showing appreciation of their customer base, I was uniquely surprised and disappointed by both owners of this company when it comes to unexpected circumstances. I booked a limo for a ride home from the Melanie Martinez concert on Sunday, Feb 28, 2016 for my daughter, wife and 6 friends.
At 9 AM on the day of the concert Ms. Martinez Tweeted out that she needed to reschedule the show because of a severe kidney infection. I immediately contacted Platinum Ride and Frank answered the phone. I informed him of what we had just learned, asked if we could reschedule the service once the rescheduled concert day was known as it was entirely out of our control.
He wasn't at all interested in hearing what I had to say, stated he typically doesn't handle reservations and that he would need to talk to his brother Joey. Frank, not Joey, returned a call to my wife a short while later stating their policy and that no reschedule of service could be made. He informed my wife they believe there was a possibility to arrange for an earlier ride time on Sunday, which supports the notion the limo was not in high demand on this day.
He called again roughly 20 mins later and I happened to be in the room/took the phone from my wife. He attempted to again explain to me their policy to which I replied that the limo was for the concert and related experience and not just for a joy ride. In reality, I live a fair distance away from Phoenix, had clients coming in from out of town the next day and needed to get to sleep early the night of the concert.
My wife wanted to enjoy the night with a few cocktails and therefor a limo was an ideal option to fulfill our needs and keep everyone safe. Now don't get me wrong here, I entirely understand "policies" and why they are necessary to protect a business from risk, abuse and related financial impacts. However, I am in the business of administering policies and know they don't exist in a vacuum. Situations happen that are entirely out of the control of the customer and on confirming those situations myself, exceptions, albeit infrequently, are made.
This is what world class companies do and how they gain customer loyalty. Instead of falling on their "its our policy" sword, they look at those rare exceptions as an opportunity to gain customer loyalty by working with the customer. Not these idiots. Guess I should have expected it from a couple owners named Joey and Frank. Won't be referring or doing business with this poor excuse of a company in the future.
Absolutely caution others from doing the same and recommend you use In the Scene Limo (ITS) as they work with customer needs. I tried to use ITS for this date, but based on a slight cost difference, I thought I could get away with this Platinum company. Don't make the same mistake if there is ANY possibility of an unexpected/out of your control change to your event.
Don't accept any excuse they offer for not working with the customer, it's not like once you book a limo everything in the space/time continuum freezes and nothing can be changed. And BTW, Frank called back shortly after writing this. I explained to him the situation and asked for his understanding to which he elected to state I was yelling at him, which I wasn't and 4 other adults were in the cafe with me at the time who attested to me not yelling (I have the conversation recorded). He refused to speak to me further because he knew I wouldn't put up with his BS excuses. What a joke this guy and company are. Stay away.

My family and I have used Platinum Ride Limousines for our annual Christmas parties for over 5+ years -- we usually use the Party Bus for those events! Fun Fun Fun! We booked platinum rides for a 30th bday party, and couldn't have been more thrilled with our experience. The driver was prompt, courteous, and super accommodating. We booked a stretch navigator for a 5 hour night, and when our plans changed unexpectedly and we needed an extra hour, he was very patient and professional. Wish he would have taken some pictures in front of the limo for us, but we hired a limo.not a photographer.i get it.
The car was in great condition, had plenty of glassware and ice, and comfortably sat 14 (we even had space for more). The limo took our classy affair to the next level. When booking they do have a no refund policy, so make sure of your dates and times. But the office was a pleasure to work with and overall a very reliable company. We will definitely use platinum rides for our limo services in the future.

So disgusted and disappointed I hate when I feel like I'm being ripped off. I will spread the Word all over so others don't experience my disgust. The company I used to book the party bus "platinum ride limos" apparently just like to rip ppl off and take there money. They are the most unprofessional people I have ever dealt with. I was late 15 mins from being dropped back off which the driver was aware of and stated not to worry.
I checked my credit card and They charged me an additional $135, which was a full hour fee for services they DID NOT provide. Once I saw this additional charge on top of all that I spent for there services not to mention leaving the driver a Big Tip Just to basically be dropped off. I called the owner who basically implied that money meant more to him then his customers or future business of others would.
I personally will spread this throughout Arizona. DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM TRUST ME. If I could give a negative star I would, no need and sending a pretend response on the bottom of the review actting surprised or as if your company had no knowledge of this. Better yet Attempting to make fellow yelpers believe differently. I attempted and spent majority of my morning conversing about this with your company who could careless.

Great guys! Joey and his brother are great with customer service. They took us out for the night with a bunch of or friends- we all got babysitters and went out to a really nice dinner without worrying about getting home- it was fun to have drinks on ice and hang out all the way there and back! We will be booking again with them again soon. We have also rented their party buses for realtor property tours during the daytime and they were very professional and accommodating!

I was not pleased with the service provided to me by this limo company. The driver rushed my wedding party and I as a result we were unable to complete bridal pictures at the ceremony site. I asked the best man whom pleaded with the driver to extend the reservation time however the driver was not able to assist us and continued to rush us regardless.
I wouldn't have mind paying for overtime, the least the driver could've done is worked with us in contacting his boss regarding our wishes. Oh and making reservations is super easy but once they get your payment forget about getting a response back from them.

Platinum Rides assisted in me treating two of our school's teachers to a 25-year ceremony. In a world where teachers are often not celebrated, our limo was an incredible touch of class and our driver was hospitable and accommodating. On a practical level, I received my contract promptly and was described the details of the evening (itinerary). The day before, I also received another reminder of the details with pick up and drop off locations. Thanks for an unforgettable night!

Great fun Great price! Joe the owner was true to his word. He said we would have a great experience and we all did. I planned a Urban Cowboy night for my friends and I and we took the party bus to a list of country bars all over the valley. Joe made suggestions and helped me with the itinerary to get the most use out of the bus. His suggestions were right on and he really took a lot of time with me.
He always replied to my emails and texts which is great cause I hate when people don't reply to texts. It's a pet peeve of mine LOL. We made it to every location and it got a little crazy. Our poor driver Gene was so polite and patient with our drunk selves. He made sure to ask if we needed poddy breaks or smoke breaks. This was a long reservation about 10 hours and we got to know Gene pretty well.
I think he got to know us a little better than he planned on LOL. We just had so much fun and we were exhausted by the end. The party bus was the only way we could've done an event like this because otherwise we would've had to have taken like 4 cabs or had 4 DD drivers. Not gonna happen right. Thanks again Joe and Gene for the great night. You made me feel so important and I need a little more of that in my life. I think everyone can. You are great thank you.
