I've used this service a bunch of times. They have very poor customer service. Some drivers take extremely long to get to your location. I honestly would not recommend this cab company to anyone because they do not care about their customers, like yesterday i tried to call a cab and the operator picked up then while i was talking she cut me off to say yeah hold up and then hung the phone up on me. What company does that? Please save your money and do not get a cab from them.

I called a classic cab at 7 this morning after getting picked up serval minutes later a car hit the back of the cab with me and my children inside. The cab driver took his time turning left and a car hit us from behind. The driver started to argue with the guy that hit us and demanded money. After exchanging information the cab driver drove off without waiting for the police.

While I was on the phone with the police. The driver then drove back to the location where the accident happened and we went inside a police precedent. The driver didn't care about me or my children being hurt showed no concern. The cab company head quarters refused to give me any information about both drivers and hung up. After leaving the hospital I'm thankful my kids are okay my back is in a lot of pain.

Used it several times to make sure about my overview. There are several nice drivers. The bad service comes when it is raining as they dont answer their phone. When they do answer there are delays. They will say 10 minutes and it has lasted 20 to 30 mins. There have been time where I just leave and they dont even call you. The base sometimes are rude or dont know what they are doing.

I give it a 2 star rating only because of the several good drivers that I met and spoke to them. The only thing keeping this company up is the lack of other car services UBER and LYFT are getting expensive. They are better when you have long travels price wise. Classic also has an app. doesnt always work neither.

Disrespectful driver sticks out middle finger at me because I honked at him for holding up traffic. Miserable drivers you have on the payroll. No wonder you have 3 stars on Google.

Critical: Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, Value Dispatch is beyond rude they hand up on you an have the nastiest attitudes. The drivers are pretty pleasant but the dispatch ruins it.

Critical: Professionalism The lady that picks up the phone after midnight is the nastiest human being I've ever had the dishonor to have encountered. Like an animal she hangs up the phone, no education, no manner, so nasty & miserable for no particular reason I'd have to say. If you hate your job so much, go home & hide under your bed.

I hired a fare from 199 Sunset Ave., Nwk to 22 Montrose St., Nwk. The driver charged me $15. The same amt that it would have cost me to go to 55 Glenwood Ave., East Orange. That would have been double the distance and i am on a cane and walker which went in the trunk fine yet came out broken. When I went to lean on the walker the left side submerged all the way down.

My walker was in very good condition. Now it is missing a piece which has to be in the trunk of the cab. I feel like I have been crippled all over again and robbed to boot. I don't have money for another walker. Any advice on how to handle this would be greatly appreciated.

On time -by that i mean 10 mins early for airport trip. CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN. Help with bag? Check. Dispatcher clear and concise. Could have used reminder they only accept cash.

I swear I wish I can give a ZERO STAR cause this company is not what they use to be! Number 23 was THE ABSOLUTE WORST AND EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL! He shouted at me when he had to return because I was told 10-15mins of pick up which was fine by me, the driver came in less than 2 mins and I was getting dressed for work! So as Inwas coming downstairs he left and I had called the company and ask for another driver.

Number 23 had the audacity to call me shouting, screaming and cursing at me asking why did I call the company and he was outside (WHICH HE WAS NOT)! I asked him why did he scream at me the guy was so unprofessional and disrespectful and I felt threatened I had 911 on speed dial! I used to like classic cabs but not after this experience! This company went down to the dogs!

If I could be zero rating stars I will. I Tried ordering a taxi once I was attempting to give my pickup address I was hung up. Called again and they hang up on me. Out of frustration I mixed the name of the company and I was told this is not that taxi company and I was hung up. I was in need of a cab as of an emergency it if this is how they treat their customers over the phone I don't want to even thing about the ride experience. truly disappointed very rude people couldn't even get my cab ordered.

I called a cab at 9:54pm I was told 15 minutes! I called back after 20 minutes. I was told 10 minutes. I waited another 10 minutes, called back and was told 10 minutes again! Called back at 10:32 pm was put on hold for 55 minutes and 23 seconds! Hung up called back was put on hold again. A Spanish speaking lady answered and had the audacity to justify to me why I was still waiting for a cab over and hour later!

Then hung up on me! This so called car service needs a course on customer service! This car service SUCKS! And to the lady that tried to justify my hour and change wait time needs to be FIRED! You guys don't even deserve the one star! I'm not done with this situation, I'm notifying the TLC!

I wish I could rate them 0 stars. The dispatcher. whoever she is, was extremely rude over the phone; she had a VERY nasty attitude. The rides are overpriced for the short distance I was going, so I decided to cancel my ride. My advice to people still wasting money on high priced taxi services & dealing with unprofessional dispatchers is, get out of these oldschool ways of transportation & download Lyft or Uber. You'll save money & not feel the need to knock some bitchy dispatcher's teeth out.

I decided to use this service for a trip due to the need of the service at the time. I called twice in the morning to schedule the trip for 12:30 and was given $18 if I paid cash and $20 if I paid card. I asked if the price would be the same for a return trip and they said Yes. I called to ask for the vehicle for the return trip to my original destination and they said $20 cash and $22 card.

I told them that I was given another price in the morning and the girl stated that this is the price take it or leave it. I explained that during two separate phone calls in the morning I was given the price of $18 cash and $20 card. The girl by the name of Ashley said "Damn for $4" and didn't even confirm that the vehicle was coming and hung up.

I called back. I asked someone else who picked up the phone who answered my call prior and I was given the name Ashley. I spoke to Ashley who admitted that I spoke to her and told me my car was on the way and I told her that her answer and rudeness was unacceptable and because of her I will not be using this company and I will always tell others to choose another company. I told her if a price is given that price should be honored. The drivers were courteous and attentive both ways. Not so much the customer service

This cab service sucks and if you're coming from NY don't even bother. You know how you take a cab to get to your destination quickly that WILL NOT happen with the drivers they have. It makes absolutely no sense for the bus and cab to reach your destination the same time. This has happened more than once. The drivers are terrible and elderly.

I was driving home when i was cut off by one of the drivers who than took it upon herself to hit the breaks almost causing a crash i told her maybe next time use her signals instead of trying to cause an accident she than follows me to my house than follows me around the town with a passenger by the way and threatened to kill me.

They were on time and brought me to my destination, that's all good I have to say about them. I was going from Ridge street to Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. The longest distance google gives me is 2.3 miles. The least I was charged with Classic is $12. Most of the time $15. With UberX I payed $6.50! Will I ever call Classic again? Nope.

DO NOT RIDE WITH THEM. I called earlier today for taxi service the receptionist was SO RUDE! She hung up on me because I didn't have a specific address but I was on the corner of a cross street in the rain with my 4 year old. I called back and asked who I was speaking to that hung up on me and she hung up again. The third time I called and asked to speak to a supervisor I was told to call back after 4 pm smh what company has a supervisor or head dispatcher only after business hours. I really liked them when they first started but obviously they are not the same.

I was charged $35 to go 15 minutes. When I called the taxi service they sent the taxi to the wrong address. When he showed up (20 minutes later) he told me he was taking me to downtown even though I told the taxi service that I wanted to go to Branch Brook Park. After he took an extra long route to get to my destination he told me he did not accept credit cards.

He told me he had to drive me to an ATM to get cash for him. I told him the taxi service should have told me and that I should not be charged for the time and distance to the ATM. When he finally took me to my destination (35 minutes later) he charged me $35. I felt uncomfortable with him, so I just paid cash and got out of the car. I called the taxi service and they told me everything was my fault and that they would not reimburse me. I was so upset and frustrated. I later took a Lyft (taxi service) back to my hotel and was charged $18 for the same distance.

It didn't take long for the girl at dispatch at 1-800-482-7210 to answer and send a cab. The first driver was attentive and got me to Mt. Pleasant Cemetery safely and quickly. The second driver was unclear in replying to my requested destination and took me to the Secaucus Rail station, quite a longer ride and more than twice the first price.
