In the '60s, the founder, Don Petroski owned a garage. Often, customers would drop their cars off for servicing when they were going away. He started offering them rides to the airport, which is how Air Brook was born. I had not traveled in several years and not alone in decades, so it's fair to say that I was anxious about taking this cross country flight. When Andreas arrived on time in my driveway, my worries faded as he took my bags and began my trip with his reassuring driving and conversation skills. In short, he navigated airport traffic, found an alternate approach, led us on foot to check in and only left my side after wisking me through the check in kiosk. I couldn't have asked for more. Thank you, Air Brook. See you for my return to NY.

The dispatcher is accommodating and the driver excellent- however, and a big however - several issues: the company did not disclose that you get billed 3 times for one round trip. One is a hold which will not get refunded for 5 to 7 days after your trip which means you pay 3 bills and have to wait and hope this company refunds you; My mom uses this company and she said they never did that before.
The company did not record my apartment number or advise that I was the first pick up when I made sure to emphasize where I live and my unit number, and I asked them to please make sure I knew who the first pick up was. I was ready at 7am just in case the driver decided to pick me up first after all. Not realizing the driver was not told to come to my unit number via the back entrance where I would have been able to see him.
There is no view from the other street from any of our units which is why I made sure to advise the back entrance (and they have done that in the past). Unfortunately for me, my phone has notifications off that early in the morning (won't do that again) and I did not know the driver had come to my home first at the front where no one can see him and was waiting outside without the unit number.
Shouldn't the company have advised me the day before so that I would have known to walk outside to the street at 7am to look for the driver - at least I would have known that they did not write down my unit number or follow my instructions to come to the back door. Not the directions I gave the dispatcher, which was to come to the back of my building and to my unit number.
Poor driver, he said he would have knocked on my door if they had told him which door! There is a 15 minute grace period, again never explained ahead of time and which I did not know about, so when it hit 20 minutes then there was an additional $100 charge! No apology, no acknowledgement that they also had a hand in the problem. I don't like this firm, the fact that I called 5 times to billing for some explanation and had to call the dispatcher to explain all the charges and extra fees. Your decision if you want to go through the hassle and expense.

Mohamed Mustafa was my Leros/Airbrook driver who picked me up at Newark Airport after a very delayed flight and long business trip. He successfully navigated the craziness on Levels 2 and 3 at Terminal C and quickly eased the pick-up process. He's a very safe driver, very polite with a great sense of humor which was greatly appreciated. His car was very clean and well maintained. I wouldn't hesitate to use or recommend Mohamed and Leros/Airbrook to others.

AirBrook is highly recommended and I have been using them for over 25 years. Their equipment is clean (sometimes even brand new). Their drivers are professional, reliable, courteous, and punctual. In all these years of using the service, I had only one bad incident. The people I have recommended AirBrook to have all had praises for the service.

Signed onto Yelp to share my experience and see that apparently this is a common complaint. I've actually used them a handful of times without incident. But then this last time they left me waiting at the airport for almost an hour because the driver picked up another couple without confirming I was one of the passengers. I would've noticed if they brought the shuttle but they sent an unmarked limo because they supposedly did not have the shuttle available.
They told me they would send a car in another hour and I said no way and paid more for an uber. Fine, things happen but this could've been avoided if they had told me they were sending an unmarked limo and confirmed passenger names before leaving. They gave me the same shpeel as the previous reviewer that they didn't have my phone number to confirm (because they never asked).
Second why don't customer service reps understand the benefits of being apologetic for their mistakes? The person who seemed to be the manager kept saying defensively I don't know what happened and didn't apologize until I asked him to. He could've easily defused the situation with a sincere apology and effort to compensate from the start. I'm very disappointed because there are few affordable options to Newark from this area. I hope they will fix this issue soon.

I would not recommend using this airport shuttle service. I did have a good experience parking and getting to the airport. When my return flight landed today I called the 800 number as instructed to let them know I was ready to be picked up. The scheduled pick up times on their website for Terminal C listed 1:15. I called at 1:16 and was told that I had just missed the shuttle.
While this was disappointing I fully understood. The next pick up time listed was at 2:45. I would have been okay with that. The dispatcher then informed me that they were short a driver and the next shuttle would not come to pick me up until 4:15. He was not this slightest bit apologetic about my having to wait 3 hours outside baggage claim for a 40 minute ride back to my car that I paid for in advance.
If I had known how unreliable they are I would have made different arrangements and plan to do so in the future. I am currently still waiting outside baggage claim at Newark and still have 40 minutes more to go. I have never posted a review online before but given I have 3 hours and nothing else to do I feel that sharing my bad experience is a good use of my time.

Do not use Air Brook Shuttle based at the park and ride in Ridgewood, NJ. I am almost 70 years old and flew to see my grandchildren in northern New Jersey. Prior to my flight into EWR, I called 3 separate times to make sure they could pick me up when I arrived on American Airlines from DFW at 5 in the afternoon. They don't take reservations but have a schedule they post on their website.
I was assured that the schedule was correct and I should just call them when I landed and got my bag. I called them to let them know I arrived and where I was. They told me where to meet the driver but it would be about an hour according to the schedule. I went to the meeting place and called again to make sure I was in the correct place which they assured me I was correct.
When they didn't arrive at the pick up time (it was 32 degrees outside), I called again. I was told, with apologies, they didn't have a driver and wouldn't have a driver. They explained that they didn't have my number to call me when I asked why all this happened. I cried and then called Uber whose driver rescued me and took me to see my grandchildren.

I always felt this was a great value, running hourly and affordable parking. However, my last trip was a nightmare where I waited 3 hours at Newark because I missed one shuttle by 10 minutes, the next one was 1 1/2 hours later due to schedule changes, then "the driver couldn't find you", along with another passenger waiting, and the dispatcher could not contact the driver. Finally, a complaint to the manager goes unanswered and not even an apology. HELLO UBER!

What is going on with this place? Price goes up and service goes down. Wednesday, April 25, 2018, I get there At 4:20 AM and the place is closed. Waited till 4:45 AM and still close. Called the 201 number and no answer. The answering machine picks up. According to the schedule, they were suppose to be open since since 4:00 AM (Ridgewood location). This is not a good sign!

We booked a car to Newark Airport for 8/19/2017 at 2 PM. This was booked almost one month in advance and then confirmed by phone 2 days before pickup. 2 PM comes and no one shows! I then called Air Brook and was told that the earliest someone could be at our house was 2:45 PM. No explanation as to why our reservation was not honored and no apology either! We would have missed our flight if we stuck with these losers! So we ended up driving to Newark and parking in Short-Term parking. Air Brook sucks IMO.

We took a transfer from Newark Airport to Ridgewood, NJ with Air Brook and were very happy with the service. We called the 1800 number when we had collected our bags and the operator explained where to wait for the van, which would arrive in 15 minutes. We made our way to the central roadway and right on time the van turned up and collected us for the 45 min trip to Ridgewood.
The trip was safe and comfortable and we paid for our tickets on arrival at the depot. For $29 each, this is a great way to get directly to Ridgewood without having to go via NYC. There is also a park / ride option for those wishing to leave their cars parked in the lot. We will use this service again.

Will not use this company again - return flights canceled twice from west coast back to NJ due to winter storms caused need to reschedule pick up for ride home. They charged me fee for their driver being at airport over 2 hours early for red eye flight. A flight I couldn't get on out of NC because I was stuck on the west coast since NO FLIGHTS WERE GOING EAST for two days due to the bad weather. This explanation fell on deaf ears with their front office. Drivers are A+ though!

Different experience than Megan R. but same rating applies. Call for a pickup at 8:30PM Tuesday. Monday comes and I needed to contact them to change pickup time. I was on hold for over 30 min. No one answered. Called back and tried to get a dispatcher. No one answered. Called multiple times and was just on hold. When the guy showed up he said sorry and that this happens often with their phone system. I guess an apology is better than nothing. No more for you Air Crook

I used to us air brook but no longer. They lost my online reservation and left me in the lurch at 5 in the morning. When I called they said there was no way to get a car to me in time. I begged and pleaded for a ride from family and friends, and believe it or not made it just in time. When I have paid for in the airport pick-up the last couple of times they were not inside and I had to find them outside. After hours on the plane this is not what I want to be doing. I think I am going to need to find a new limo service.
