This company is truly unprofessional, from the manager to the rude driver. If you are considering using this company, don't. The driver Ludwig made myself and the rest of my party feel uncomfortable from the moment he picked us up. He made unnecessary comments about having to pick us up from Brooklyn. His exact words were i told Mike not to take these job. Granted Brooklyn to Long Island is far but it's a paid service to be exact!
Don't just take my word the security at one of the wineries (Pinder) was able to identify the driver by description Sean explained that he's quite nasty. To make matters worse Mike wells the manager who lied and said Jimmy Flynn is the manager has no business running a company. He only cared when we mentioned the obvious fact that our party was treated unfairly, because we are women(Both men yelled at us while on the phone!) As a supervisor he had no care to resolve the issue of his incompetent driver throwing out belongings out and left us.
All while taking our money. Let me not even start with the limo being old worn down, nothing like what was advertised for a party of six. Please call the wineries for help with reputable tours to avoid using this company for any service. Their service and demeanor is Disgusting! Not to mention they conveniently placed all our belongings outside except for my wallet. Thankfully the police were helpful in getting him to acknowledge they threw our belongings out. This is not a reputable business at all! Save yourself time and money.

Used this rental company to rent a sprinter van for my bachelorette weekend. Michael (I assume he was owner or office manager) was awesome, so helpful with all questions and the booking process itself. The value compared to other local companies is unmatched. Jon was our driver, he was so attentive and made the day fun and memorable for us. I would most definitely use this company again. Thank you for making everything so special!

Reading some of the reviews on here had me a bit skeptical on booking a limo from this company. I was looking for a limo to take my friends and I to a vineyard out East for my friend's birthday who was visiting from North Carolina so I was trying to make it extra special for her. Mike was very nice and was always available to answer any of my frantic phone calls and questions.
He assured me that everything in the limo would be working and it all did work! The limo was a little outdated but it was fine and Joe, who was our driver, was nothing short of fantastic! He was an absolute delight and was very attentive to all of our needs. Great company and I would recommend!

The issue with this company is the UNPROFESSIONALISM. You cannot tell someone give or take if they are 15 minutes pass the departure time it is ok and then in turn tell someone oh we are going to charge you a late fee. So sorry my friends were so nice and tipped before our service because the driver would have received NOTHING! My friends were literally 5 minutes pass 3:30 pm and we were intentionally dropped off late to our drop-off so they can get their $96 late fee.

PLEASE do not waste your money. They're scammers. Threatened to take us to court over a $96 charge they had no business charging smh. Mike actually hung up on my friend and was incredibly rude and disrespectful. I'm so sad we tipped before knowing what they were going to end up doing. They're so pushy with money from the jump which was a big turn off to begin with. PLEASE SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE!

Needed a 10 passenger for my daughter's graduation party, pick up on LI, restaurant in NYC and back home. Read the reviews, a bit worried but have to say it was a great experience. Driver on time, easy pickups and drop offs from home and restaurants, nice limo. GREAT price and Dean our driver was fantastic very patient with my mom who took time getting in/out of limo. Looking forward to using them again.

: Professionalism Don't waste your money here. This company is incredibly unprofessional and sleazy. I don't usually leave bad reviews but, this place was horrible. They scammed my group out of money claiming "late fee". We booked a vineyard trip for my birthday being picked up in Queens and headed to vineyards on Long Island. At the beginning, the driver arrived late and proceeded to putter around in the back seat of the limo claiming that he was trying to set up the radio (which ended up not even working).
When we finally got on the road, were told that we had a certain amount of time at each vineyard which we abided by. At the first vineyard, the driver almost left without one person in our party. At the 2nd vineyard, we were told to meet the driver at 3:30PM in order to get back by the drop-off limit time, 5:30. The driver then stated that if we left "around" 3:30, that we would be fine and that if we were 15 minutes behind give or take, that this was fine too.
The entire group was in the vehicle by 3:35 and we were on the road. When we arrived back at about 5:50PM, the driver stated that he would need to report that the drop-off time was after 5:30 to the company and that there may be a late fee. The driver claimed that the trip from the Vinyard would take 2.5 hours however, my friend Google mapped the trip and it came out to be an hour and 20 minutes.
A few days later, I incurred a $100 fee on my credit card. I followed up with management to inquire and dealt with a very rude man named Mike on the phone. Mike proceeded to tell me that the driver had told him that my group was late, holding up the car causing us to arrive well after the drop off time. I told him that the driver had given us a time and that the group had abided by this time.
The driver lied about us, blaming US for the lateness. Mike then proceeded to say that he would not void the ridiculous charge and hung up rudely after yelling that he "he didn't have time for this" and that "we did a nice thing for you" meanwhile stealing my money. I said that if we were to be back by 5:30 that the driver should have given us an earlier time, say 3PM so that we would ensure that we were back on time and avoid any unwanted fees.
The driver assured us that the time given would be plenty of time but looking back, he knew that he'd get us back late all along. He purposely got us back late, so that we would be charged a late fee. Just lies, lies, lies. In addition, the driver gave off a bad vibe and also lied to dispatch claiming that a person in my party indicated that others were holding up the group, encouraging the driver to hurry them along which is completely false. GO WITH ANOTHER company. They lack respect, dignity and honesty. I'm truly disgusted by them.

Used this for a birthday party in and out of NYC - the limo was older and not in pristine condition. The TVs were broken and the driver said the privacy window was broken as well. They only had little red solo cups and shop rite mini water bottles. For the price we paid we expected a little more. When the question came to if we can smoke in the back, the guy said no and almost right away the guy in the office Michael called and threatened to kick us off the bus if we did. which we had no intention of after he said no.
Later in the night he took a half hour to pick us up and at the end of the night he left a water bottle pack that we also bought in the middle of the street outside our house. I would not consider this place only if you want aggravation and a weird broken limo In response to this review on Google the driver (as with every other less than perfect review) was VERY NASTY and combative.
We paid hourly for 8 hours and our driver chose to leave the city mid trip and we ended up waiting over a half hour. The owner also threatened us with cleaning charges because of the review. which we didn't have anything in the limo other than the cups that they supplies and empty water bottles they also supplied. If i could give negative zero stars which is numerically impossible to this company i would. they cat-fished my co-worker with pictures of a bus that did not at all resemble the bus that took us to our corporate event. this is not how you do business for dignified tax paying citizens and i would highly think that this bus service should not be used at all for any sort of transportation. also, the bus driver was driving like a diluted maniac hitting potholes that we believe was purposely done, speeding in and out lanes like he was paul walker causing us to slide up and down the bus. the bus driver was late and did not even apologize for his tardiness. he was not friendly nor when we asked for his assistance in connecting the bluetooth he did not come to our aid and just left us to figure it out for ourselves. and. on top of that the bus had no a/c it felt like we were in wakanda.-_____- and how do you have a bus with blinds that are playing skip to my lou every other window had a blind to give shade? what kind of foolery are you guys involved in. overall poor service

Metro Limousines has the WORST customer service. Michael, The owner or whoever he is, IS NASTY AND RUDE. I rented a party bus for my daughter's 15th birthday on October 27th 2018. The bus came and was old and run down. There were no working LED lights, The shades for the windows were broken, There was no bluetooth connection for the kids to play music from their phones and the outlets on the bus did not work.
I called to speak to Michael, the person that I made the reservation with and he was so rude and told me "cancel the job then". I had 13 teenage kids at my house waiting to go the city. I absolutely did not expect that response. The driver was very apologetic but there was nothing he could do. This company should go out of business. Please do not waste your money with this company. They do not treat their customers with courtesy or respect. I wouldn't even give them one star.

I recently went on one of the Long Island wine tours through this company, and had a similar experience to what others have described. I am hoping that this company will apologize to our group or issue a partial refund: -driver arrived late to pick up our group, refused to apologize or properly compensate us for time missed touring the wineries -driver was incredibly rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful rushing us through the winery stops.
He literally threatened to leave us more than once throughout the day if we didn't make it to the bus on time, despite being late in the morning -the company couldn't tell us what vehicle we would have for the day in advance -the AC was not functioning properly in over 100 degree weather! The driver did not care, and was being purposefully unhelpful.
Our group got so hot in the van that we had to open an emergency window. The driver finally gave up and pulled over to the side of the highway to open the emergency exit on the roof as well because we kept telling him that it was unbearably hot in the back. Most of our group had to go to sleep on the ride back because it was too hot to stay awake -my sister called to complain about our driver during our trip and the man she spoke to screamed at her, called her stupid, and hung up the phone on her!
I have used City Brew Tours in the past and they were so much more professional, the food was better, and the tour was timely. I sincerely think this company preys on having a mostly woman customer base that they attempt to bully and take advantage of. I am certain you can find a better company to spend your money with.

Excellent limo company! I worked with Julie, and because our date had to be reschedule due to an emergency surgery, she was able to accommodate a different date without charge. The day of, we had an amazing driver, who was so sweet and kept in touch with me at each stop as to where he had to park the bus. At the end of the day after he dropped us off, i had left my phone on the bus and the driver brought it back to me that night! The company goes beyond their means of customer service and i highly recommend them!

This was the worst service experience I've ever encountered in my entire life. After receiving the contract for a 20-passenger party bus and being told that a contract in flux would reserve my spot, I was told (after calling them to make sure everything was in order after returning the signed contract) that the vehicle was booked to someone else. Furthermore, the representative ensured that they've never received the signed contract (both my email provider and theirs confirmed otherwise).
At no point in the conversation was there an apology or effort to fix the situation. I was then labeled a liar by the representative and basically told to deal with it. To top it all off, the company never called or emailed me to let me know that my reservation was in jeopardy (even in a world where they didn't receive my signed contract, this is unacceptable). I would not recommend this service to anyone. They were unprofessional, unreliable, and lacked basic customer service skills.
At no point in the conversation was there an apology or effort to fix the situation. I was then labeled a liar by the representative and basically told to deal with it. To top it all off, the company never called or emailed me to let me know that my reservation was in jeopardy (even in a world where they didn't receive my signed contract, this is unacceptable). I would not recommend this service to anyone. They were unprofessional, unreliable, and lacked basic customer service skills.

By far the most unprofessional business out there. I scheduled a party bus for my 21st birthday, and they had "mechanical issues" and never showed up nor did they have back up. The bus driver was the one to call me and tell me he won't make it. I called various times to speak to someone at the business but they were closed and no one got back to me. They ruined my birthday! Most unprofessional business ever do not use this company.

We used Metro Limousine Service for Transportation from Long Island to New York City to see the Christmas Tree.. I MUST say they where Fantastic! Our driver showed up on time and with Hot Chocolate for my kids. The Limo was a Chrysler 300 Stretch Black and was absolutely beautiful inside and out, They had a bag of mini marshmallows and A Christmas Story was playing on the TV Screens.
My Kids where SOOOOO Happy... I want to thank Metro Limousine Service for an Amazing Night with my family and friends. I also want to thank the staff and our Driver Zash for making the trip memorable for ever...

This company should not even be in business. On the way into Manhattan with 10 young girls the limo air conditioning was not working and the car overheated a mile from our location. They offered no support to get to our destination in 95 degree heat. They sent another car for the returned which was a dilapidated limo with paint chips, loose molding and worn out seats.
The air conditioning did not work and when the car got a flat tire on the side of the LIE, the driver opened the door and basically said good luck getting home. We had to walk on the side of the LIE and climb thru a fence to get safely to a place to wait for my husband to come with 2 cars to get us all home. Although they gave me my money back, the 5 hour planned trip took 7 1/2 and they put us in an unsafe situation. I cannot understand how this company is in business.

I don't know about the these other reviews, but I just used Metro Limo Service this weekend for my bachelorette wine tasting tour out east LI and it was the BEST experience ever! We had the best driver ever, Anthony! He arrived at our pick up location about 20 minutes early. He was kind, patience, good driver and gave us an heads up how long we were going to be at each winery approximately.
We paid the extra $ for lunch and it was well worth it because after all the tastings, we were very hungry! I highly recommend using them and we will definitely use them again before the end of the summer. All the girls had a blast and the weather was great. Booking was also a easy breeze and excellent customer service with Julie. She answered all of our questions, went through all the details and fine print.
She even gave me advice on what to do on the day of since it was out first time going wine tasting. I personally like to give my 2 cents in whenever I have good or bad service at any public location that I attend so I defiantly had to let others know about Metro Limo. I personally had a great time that's why I highly recommend them. Hope others from now on also have the same experience as I did.

A group of 18 of us went on a wine tour Sunday afternoon. The age ranged from 23-55 year olds, and to tell you the truth we were all extremely satisfied from beginning to end. The scheduled pick up time was for 10am and our driver was outside our door at 9:30am. The ice bins were stocked with a few waters and ice. We had coolers with us too. We departed to our first vineyard. Charlie was our driver and since I was the one who made the reservation, me and him were in full contact that day.
He was friendly and very accommodating. Whenever we wanted to leave he was right there waiting. Julie was my main contact in the office. Very friendly and personable! Since I'm a little paranoid I would call her to just make sure we were still secure with our reservation, which worked out great. My only complaint was that the AUX cord did not work (3 girls brought one so it was the radio not our cords) so we had the radio the entire time (which worked fine). This was my second time using Metro and haven't had an issue! :)
He was friendly and very accommodating. Whenever we wanted to leave he was right there waiting. Julie was my main contact in the office. Very friendly and personable! Since I'm a little paranoid I would call her to just make sure we were still secure with our reservation, which worked out great. My only complaint was that the AUX cord did not work (3 girls brought one so it was the radio not our cords) so we had the radio the entire time (which worked fine). This was my second time using Metro and haven't had an issue! :)

Worst experience of my life! I would like to give negative 5 starts. Don't waste your time or money with this place they are so rude have no standards and out right disrespectful. I did the li wineries tour with 7 other ladies our driver rushed us out of the wineries told us we better not dare use the bathroom and started calling us bitches and cursing us out.
I called dispatch to notify the company of the drivers behavior and the guy was screaming at me to apologize to the driver meanwhile he was totally wrong the driver "pauly" was driving like a psycho path cutting off people and slamming on his breaks to say the least we were scared for our lives. not to mention the lunch was terrible and the limo was absolutely filthy when we got in dirty foot prints on the walls and ice on the floor and handprints all over the mirrors on the ceilings. actually we cleaned it our selves.
When we told the driver the limo was filthy he said he's just the driver it's not his job to clean it and we should post it all over facebook because the owner "gets away with murder" Haven't these people ever heard of customer service?! such a waste of money and a beautiful day

This may be a somewhat outdated review, but judging by other's experiences I think it's likely still relevant. My wife had arranged to have her best friend's Bachelorette Party on one of Metro Limousine's brewery tours. It seemed like a decent idea: limo, chicks, beer, possibly a night of pure prenuptial debauchery the likes of which even Lindsay Lohan's never experienced.
What could go wrong? Well, Hurricane Irene could make landfall. Hurricane Irene - the 7th costliest hurricane in US history - was barreling down on the Northeast on this particular weekend. Prudently, my wife decided to call the Limo Company to discuss changing the date. Roads were being closed in anticipation of landfall; trees were being uprooted; and a relentless torrent of rain was already falling, but the owner REFUSED to allow a change!
In fact, he not only refused, he did it in such an unkind manner I had half-a-mind to drive to his establishment and beat him severely. Ahh, this guy is in the business elite. My wife had paid by credit card, so she simply did a charge-back, but why should she have had to? Do the right thing and you gain a loyal customer. This business owner's inclination is to screw the customer for every last penny.

Winery Tour 1. The driver did not keep on schedule at all. We had to pick up a guest out east and he was 40 mins late. The first winery he was late picking us up, we had to call him to get us at the second one and the third we went looking for him. Where we found him was a whole other level of wrong, but I will explain that later. 2. The driver (Bernardo) brought a lady friend who sat in front with him, which was strange enough, but it got even stranger towards the end. 3.
The limo was not in the greatest of shape. Definitely outdated. Some of the buttons didn't work or work properly and any radio stations barely came in. 4. As I stated earlier, the driver brought a much-younger lady friend (we thought it could possibly be his daughter) with him on the ride. We all thought it was strange, but figured it wasn't a big deal if it didn't affect us.
Problem is, it did. When it was time to head home, we had to go find him (he should have been watching the time himself, but ok, no big deal.) We were about to call him when we noticed there were some people in the back of the limo--getting dressed. It was him and his friend. She quickly got out on the other side and into the front seat, hair messed.
We were all outraged and disgusted. Some of us left our things and a bottle of our own liquor in there! Besides the fact that such behavior in gross and uncalled for! 5. When we got dropped off, he asked for a tip in addition to the payment for the tour! Then when the leader of the group reconsidered, he refused her money and got nasty with her. He THREATENED her by saying he was going to charge her credit card on file with the company. 6.
We have let the place know and are awaiting some form of condolences, but have not heard back from the female manager since the initial complaint. We were told this man was FIRED, but I doubt it. Though we did not have as big of problems as the other group's that wrote here, what this company allowed to happen was completely UNPROFESSIONAL. For how much money you spend, service should be held to a higher standard. DO NOT GIVE THIS PLACE YOUR MONEY!

I agree with the other Lauren - this place IS TERRIBLE! This past weekend, we took a bus out to the long island vineyards. For the first 20 minutes or so things were going well, until the music stopped working. Paying $2,500+ for a party bus without music is unacceptable. Then, all of a sudden we see smoke coming from the side of the bus. We pulled right into a Gas Station (thankfully) and find out the hose which prevents engines from over heating is broken. So, we have to WAIT in a PARKING LOT for 1 hour as we try to figure out what to do.
When calling the "Dispatcher" we received no help, no update on if they could send another car or anything. just 20 people hanging in a parking lot. Finally they sen another vehicle to pick us up and drive to the first vineyard. but again with ZERO music. One the way home we actually stopped at Radio Shack to buy a boombox which we were not refunded for either, and they actually suggested returning.
Sorry Metro Limo, you cant return used goods its against the law. I called the next day spoke to Julie Gee who is a "Manager". She was disrespectful, unwilling to help, and hung up the phone on me. I have never dealt with a with such a terrible company. AVOID AT ALL COSTS, seriously they are assholes.

The driver was great. The tour was pretty good. At the end of the day, the manager, Mike, came up with an additional processing fee and taxes that weren't on the contract. When questioned, he yelled and threatened to call the police. He wasn't willing to listen or to work things out. Instead, he continued to yell and threatened to fire the driver if I didn't pay the made-up fee.
Mike ruined what would have been a great day.
I was going to use this service for a bachelorette party but I will never step foot in another one of their limos. If you want a great tour with a horrible ending and worse customer service, then make sure you call Mike at Metro Limo Service in Freeport, NY.
