There isn't a place to wait for the bus out of the weather as far as I could tell. Not ever town can have a depot like Altoona's but even a piece of corrugated tin to stand under is better than nothing.

The bus industry has gone downhill tremendously not just one but all it's a shame it's definitely easier and more convenient to drive than to take a bus in today's market. It would appear that the bussing co is holding on to it last wheel of Fortune. And passing all the cost to the consumer. Lol

Prior to restoring ownership to Fullington in 2017-18 profit was placed before safety, drivers were expected to violate dot regulations, falsifying dot drivers logs to drive, and drive vehicles in need of repair eg a bus scheduled for a route with a rear tire deflated would be inflated and sent on it's route without repair / replacement risking rupture of the tire and/or fire if undetected. Vehicles with maladjusted headlights were used nightly or brake malfunctions eg driver reporting to mechanic insufficient air to hold emergency brakes temporarily repaired for use on the 200 mile trip only to malfunction 20 miles on route which potentially could've resulted in the brakes locking up without air pressure and injuries to passengers, vehicles as such should've been removed from service until repaired for safety reasons.

Bus NEVER shows on time. I end up driving riders to State College almost every time so they don't miss their connections. There is no way to track the bus coming to the Clearfield terminal. Even calling the numbers isn't helpful. It usually says your itinerary number doesn't exist. Not even sure how they stay in business. Oh. not refunding passengers, because that is another huge issue. Just pay someone gas money and avoid the Clearfield station.

The service is ridiculous, the busses overbook every time, and the people are rude as hell. I would take any other option over this if I had the choice. The terminal is just filled with people who missed busses because the staff does not communicate and frankly, doesn't care. Really horrible experiences with this.

Absolute garbage. Every experience I've had with Fullington has been terrible. Firstly, they charge a random $5 service fee. My trip from Philadelphia to Allentown, PA came to $27, whereas through Martz, it's $22. Secondly, they make you print out your tickets and don't accept e-tickets. I don't own a printer. Or a car. So I'm left having to spend MORE money taking a bus to a library or Staples to pay to print the tickets.

Some seats are broken or not fully attached to the bus and move around. On-bus bathrooms are usually dirty and/or not stocked. I've never been able to find a power outlet, and if I do, it doesn't work. Today, I was taking a 3pm bus from Philly to Allentown. I got to the Chinatown bus stop at 2:30pm. For some reason, the station doesn't announce buses that aren't Peter Pan or Greyhound.

I was soaked from walking around the city in the rain so I wanted to wait inside until the bus came. At 3:20pm, I became concerned as I hadn't heard any updates but knew buses tend to be delayed. I was then told the bus had already come and gone and I had to be OUTSIDE to have gotten on. No one came inside to tell riders the bus had arrived or was departing.

There are apparently no refunds given so I just threw $27 down the drain. DO NOT use Fullington Trailways if you can help it. It's absolutely not worth the stress that you may or may not encounter. Beware.

Updated review: been on this bus 50x and it comes late every.single.time. They don't even have people picking up the phones. This company is super unprofessional. They advertise outlets on their online description of this bus. This bus had nothing of the sorts. Why lie about something like that? Other buses, that are less expensive and less fancy have some kind of outlet for their customers to charge their phones. False advertising.

Absolutely the most unorganized, unreliable bus company ever. As a college student I take the bus home to and from every single weekend. When I would try to go home on Sunday night, drivers would drive right past me. When I'd try to go home Monday mornings, the drivers would be over an hour late, and their excuse was "the bus is waiting on another bus for a transfer." I've had to eat my money over and over because of their incorrect scheduling and inability to send out alerts to those waiting on the side of road.

This week, there was a very large detour in the bus's normal route, and instead of planning ahead, I had to wait for over an hour. The week before same thing, only there wasn't even a detour then. There's been times I've been told I couldn't even get on the bus because they over sold the tickets and had no room. After this semester I'll never be traveling with them again. Terrible.

It I pay for ticket leaving at 10:30 am I expect to plane picked up at 10:30. And I could even deal with running 10-15 minutes behind, but an hour and 20 minutes? You've got to be kidding me. Not to mention no texts alerts or calls. Just me calling the same station on 6 separate occasions.

I am very disappointed in this bus company. My bus was over 30 min lates to my destination which in turn caused me to miss my last train going home. when I called to see what could be done I was told that I had to pay for my own transportation and that the "boss" said there was nothing they could do about it. it cost me an additional 56 dollars to get home when I already had prior arrangements. I am very disappointed and will be calling corporate in the morning. I don't recommend this bus line ever

I've used these guys a couple of times. I did have an issue a few weeks back wher my bus drove on by without stopping. I called a couple days later and they rescheduled my trip since I use them every couple of weeks! No problems and no questions asked!

We booked a trip to King of Prussia for Black Friday, thinking a professional driver would make us relaxed for the trip with heavy traffic. Problem was, our driver did not know how to drive the bus and kept popping the clutch, throwing all of us forward and making it feel like he slammed on the brakes. The first time he did it, I thought he hit a deer right outside the station.

He did that the entire trip. When we got to the mall, he hit a curb and then sideswiped one of the mall trees down the entire side of the bus. He was rude to quite a few passengers, whenever you did try to speak to him, very unprofessional. He missed our stop on the way home, and we had to yell from the back of the bus to turn around and let us off!

Never again, I do not recommend and will not ever use them for a bus trip again. I was very happy to have my feet back on solid ground, and would have gladly walked the mile back to our stop, if he would have refused to turn around.

Businesses across the U.S. are under scrutiny for discriminatory practices Fullington Trailways should be no exception in maintaining the highest quality service and not tolerating discriminatory practice. The front entrance to Fullington Trailways located on Alexander Dr. in State College PA is politically neutral and welcoming to all guests whereas the "driver's entrance" indicates the organization supports Donald Trump's agenda "make america work again." On August 6 at 5:30PM anyone entering the driver's entrance to the dispatch would've encounter racist comments by guest/drivers who used the derogatory term "n.rs" followed by correction from the on-duty dispatch "Doug" who responded "hey" to which the guest/driver responded "well that's what they are, they throw everything around." Currently Fullington is staffed by approximately 1 African American driver of approximately 100+ who may have encountered such disrespectful environment had that driver entered the building at that time.

To be a successful business in today's world one would think hostile and discriminatory practices as such wouldn't be tolerated, at least when law enforcement allege discrimination disciplinary actions are immediately taken to correct the issue. Fullington operates an express shuttle for Pennstate University students requiring a printout of a valid ticket.

If a student has an eticket, agents request the student obtain a printout declaring students have "burned" the company using others credit cards etc whereas agents have the option of verifying with the confirmation number doing so with Asian and Caucasian. On one occasion an African American woman approached a ticket agent (scott) with a valid eticket. Scott alleged the customer possibly stole the ticket demanding she purchase another ticket at $50 although Scott had the option to confirm the eticket purchase through confirmation number. Fullington was incorporated through a company from France until January 2018 in which Fullington regained possession doing so with a history of violating corporate policies for drivers forcing drivers to violate DOT regulations for driving hours and instituting an implied policy in which drivers were expected to "fudge" falsify dot logs to drive out of compliance.

Two examples of violating corporate policy; drivers were required to drive during policy break time when short staffed, dispatch operated on a 70 hour in 8 day period whereas corporate policy dictated a 60 hour in 7 day period.

Terribly outdated and inefficient ticketing system - somehow a mobile ticket with my name on it sent from their email address isn't proof enough that I paid for a ticket. Driver was rude and not understanding. Call center was very eager to push me through. And I have to send physical mail just to get a refund on my original ticket? This bus line is money first customer last.

Absolutely horrible! I have taken this bus several times now, and the first time it was severely late, I was understanding because of traffic. However, for the last couple of times, this bus has been many HOURS late, due to mechanical failures and connection failures. This is too often to be chance, they are not keeping their promise of good service to their customers. Additionally, their refund policy is draconian, calling the time tables "estimates that cannot be guaranteed" -- how is a 3 hour window an estimate?! Ridiculous!

Literally the worst bus company I have ever seen in my life. They could not accommodate the amount of people on the bus and let an intoxicated man on who proceeded to throw up on himself and pull down his pants as he was making his grand exit. This was after the bus hadn't left on time. We are now sitting in the station almost 1 hour after the bus was supposed to leave. Will never use this company again.

The WORST! My son bought a ticket in advance and was at the designated stop 30 minutes early as the ticket recommends only to get stood up by the bus driver who skipped his stop and kept driving! When he and I both called the dispatcher, we were both told the bus was now an hour away on the route and "this driver has done this before." WTF? What company continues to employ a driver who only makes stops when he feels like it?!?

When I called the company office, they "looked into it", called me back and said their bus GPS showed the bus did arrive at the stop (late due to traffic), waited 3 minutes and left. It's their word against ours but my smart teenage son would not miss a big tour bus in a parking lot at the designated stop. They offered me a voucher for future travel but there's no way I'd ever trust this company again and you should be very careful if you choose to travel with them. THEY

After waiting for an hour and a half for a bus on Friday in which I couldn't get a hold of ANY customer service to figure out where and why the bus is running late, the return bus on Monday broke down and instead of calling for a new bus right away, a mechanic was called that we had to wait an hour for. Long story short, the bus needed to be towed and the new bus took 2 hours to arrive after already having to wait for the mechanic to get there. Extremely dissatisfied that TWO of my trips in ONE week had issues.

Probably the worst service experience i have had in a while. Our bus was supposed to arrive @ 3:45 at a designated stop. After waiting well past the departure time and multiple calls to their customer service number with no response - we finally got hold of someone who told us that for some reason the bus left 1 hour earlier and there was nothing they could do about it.

They suggested we take the next bus 4 hours later. After 3 hours, before leaving for the next bus we tried calling the same number with no luck. Given this experience, i would caution anyone against using this service unless u have hours to wait. If you kids are travelling, make sure you are there at the stop to make sure the bus shows up.

This is a 24-hour little bus station that services Greyhound, Amtrak, and their own line, Fullington. I don't know much about the bus service itself cause I don't live around here, although I came in today way too early ( 11:30am) for a 1:55pm Greyhound, and have taken a liking to the place. The staff is super friendly. There are two people working right now and nobody but me in the building, so they are free to help you with anything or just chat.

The staff will also alert you to coupons that you don't know of to get your ride cheaper. There is free wifi (server: TRAILWAYS, password: FULLINGTON) and outlets all around the room! (: There are vending machines with snack, soda, and juices. There are even the little gumball dispensing machines you see in ghetto grocery stores with gumballs older than your coins.
