I have travelled though Sky Harbor many times and each time it has been a different experience and not always for the better. This day, the airport was busy and people were everywhere due to the several flight cancellations. Here is what really surprised me, at 8pm the concourse that My flight was on had all the shops, bars, and restaurants CLOSED in the midst of thousands of people still on their concourse.

This was ridiculous. I had to go to other concourses, which are not that close, to find something open. I did find a place, but they were full with long lines to get in, while other places had already closed. I was fortunate to find a place in where I was able to just order a meal to go but when I passed by again i30-minutes later, the to go window was closed.

So there are people everywhere, the restaurants and bars were closed and the lines to American Airlines customer service were in the several hundreds in length. After my flight from Phoenix was canceled by American Airlines, I tried to call them. It was a 4-hour wait, and the customer service lines were about equal in time. It was crazy to have this many issues all the while not updating their app to reflect the delays and cancellations in a timely manner. So, so will Amor this recommendation. Bring your own food with you and do NOT rely on anything being open for you to purchase food.

One of the cleanest airports I've been to but there's a lack of restaurants and shops since the pandemic wiped out about half of them so wait times can be long. Other than that, this airport is easy to get in and out of the 4 terminals available, and tsa wait times aren't awful like some major airports so that's a plus.

The staff here are awesome, however the ability to smoke requires a hike to outside. After a mile or so you can walk another 147 feet to the smoking area. Then you have to go through the TSA, again. So if you have a short window between flights forget about it. What happened to smoking areas? Every airport without a smoking area for passengers should have reinstate them.

Nice airport, easy in and out. Spacious baggage claim. Pick up was pretty smooth most vehicles kept moving. Signage was good for passengers to be able to get around.

Easy parking and sky train. It's very easy to navigate the airport layout. We have no control over somethings in travel so give some and take some it's a good airport. Weather helps The ability for few cancellations because of bad weather. Thanks

We've flown into and out of Sky Harbor several times on multiple airlines, including American, United, and Frontier. The experience is fairly similar in terms of the airport's amenities, save for the choice of restaurants, in each terminal. Pick-up and drop-off can be challenging when things are busy, as can finding the door number at which to meet someone, if the person is unfamiliar with PHX.

The gate area was dirty as we awaited our most recent flight, a redeye east, but I hadn't noticed this before. The bathrooms, however, are the cleanest I've experienced at a major airport, and I've been to many.

Very impressed with this airport. Very clean, organized, flowed, airport staff and staff at restaurants were friendly. Check out SHAKE Shack, the morning lady at 6 am is so AWESOME. Bathrooms everywhere, play area for kids, tons of seating, tons of charging areas,

Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport is a wonderful hub Airport for American Airlines, plus it serves many other carriers. Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport has been updated and presents a wealth of wonderful restaurants and shops to make your flying experience more enjoyable. There are several main concourses connected by moving walkways making it quick and easy to get between gates to catch that next flight. Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport has many restrooms, indoor pet relief areas, and many other amenities for traveler comfort. Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport has several American Airlines Admiral's Club locations easily accessible for your comfort and enjoyment. Easy drop off to go in, pretty fast checkin with tons of kiosks. The airport is clean, with nice, open walkways. Very fast and very polite security. There are places to get food and stuff at each cluster of gates, and the gates are really spread out. That means a long walk to get options. The reason they lose a star is you're really packed in at the gate and that's uncomfortable.
