BBB is a joke. I understand the idea of it and I think it originated with a great idea. However, they dont take customer complaints seriously. if a customer isnt willing to pay for something how does that put the company at fault? If a customer is cussing out any of my employees. HOW DOES THAT PUT THE COMPANY AT FAULT. Seems like its just a stamp and doesnt ever hold the customer at fault.

I purchased clover point of sale system through the Business bank PNC. Well I signed the contract 8/2021 after the 100 of empty kpromises made by our PNC merchant on11/2021 the system was shipped to us. And Lisa our pnc merchant came in just to tell us we need to send the systems back because all 3 terminals were faulty. 2 weeks pass Mike another pnc merchant came in to hook everything up. Lol Worst decision I've made now here we are The end of 1/22 and all 3 devices aren't working and they want me to pay to have new ones shipped.

Why would I even do that. I don't want to deal with this anymore. We're a restaurant at the grips of Covid and now pnc our bank that should be supportive are the brains of screwing us out of thousands. So I've decided to go back to the old fashion way of taking things in my hands and got a lawyer to get us out of a contract of false information changing financial services. And moving on. Lesson learned. If it sounds to good to be true than that Td not true.

I had an issue with a corporation based out of MD, and operating in many places including my state of NC. After 2 weeks of trying to confirm a refund for a purchase of falsely advertised services with zero response from the business, I filed a complaint through the MD chapter of BBB. Within 3 days of submission i had a response from the businesses representative, providing a brief apology and confirming processing of my refund.

I ALMOST didn't file the complaint since my initial view was that it was a waste of time and resources, for myself and BBB. I am thankful that I did and have one more annoyance off my plate. Just wanted to thank BBB once more for the work they do. I know its not easy or enjoyable.but it is VERY MUCH APPRECIATED.

Thank you so much BBB. I can tell everyone that you guys "got my back." While I'm having problems with a local business, my intent was to give them a not so pleasant review here. Before posting my comments, BBB emailed me and we discussed my issues. After BBB contacted the business, they quickly agreed to fix my issues with their product before everything went public here. I promised to keep BBB updated. I don't believe I could have fixed this on my own. Again thanks BBB. I know where I can go for help again if I need them.

The BBB of Greater Maryland was wonderful in helping me get my security deposit back. My former landlord totally disregarded the 45 days to refund the deposit specified in the lease. Lisa Clay of BBB was great with keeping me updated and staying on top of attempts to obtain a response from the landlord. I'm very appreciative. I was also provided contact information for the state's attorney general (AG).

I had a wonderful experience. Arlene Gibson worked with me for several months in an attempt to reach a solution with Len the Plumber company. What should have been a quick solution dragged on for months. However Ms Gibson addressed my every concern and always returned my calls or emails. I thank BBB of Greater Maryland for their patience and diligence because they also knew I was tenacious in finding a fair and reasonable solution.

Although the company cancelled my scheduled appointment twice, they finally came and replaced the faulty part in our hot water tank, which was under warranty. Our water no longer smells like sulfur and eggs. Thanks for the assistance with my concerns. Since this is a free service and you are a 501C, I am making a donation and I challenge others to do the same. Seasons Greetings

Though I decided not to move forward with my complaint I sense the BBB would have provided good, timely service. When I filed the complaint the BBB began immediate correspondence with me; moreover, they took action and immediately contacted the company with which I filed the complaint The BBB promises to do that and they did. I then received an immediate response from the defending company.

I was very pleased with the ease and timeliness of action that was provided by the BBB. I did not realize the BBB was non-profit. I am ready to support the them. The report that they offer education about the psychology of scammers and fraudsters. It would be awesome to have them come and provide education at my community association meeting. In closing, I don't think you will ever have to file a complaint with the BBB against the BBB. Kudos to everyone at the BBB.

Baltimore Limousines are crooks. I had planned to use them for a Birthday party for my mother. They took 100.00 deposit and I called two days later as we had a death in the family and had to cancel. I did not sign a contract with them and when I called to cancel explaining this tragic situation they would not refund my money. My bank gave it back to me and a month later they fought the claim and took 100.00 out of my account.

I think that this company is piss poor and they say that they are family owned and operated. I guess taking 100.00 around the holidays from a single mother who just lost a loved one is the professional thing to do. Very sad people to do business with.
