We come to the Ritz every year for a conference. We ordered 3 vans for a group to Fernandina for dinner. When we get to the restaurant, we said we would like to pay for return but only need 2 vans. I pay them $144 and 2 vans show up after dinner as planned. First van went back to the Ritz and 2nd van goes a few blocks to Green Turtle. The driver going back to Ritz refused to let the passengers out until they "paid". Complete scam! Use another taxi or Uber!

Hands down one of the best places in town. The prices are cheap and they even cater.

Do not use this company. They always are either hours late, or they dont show up

I called on Thursday to schedule a pick-up for Saturday. I was called 30 mins before I wanted to be picked up to confirm my appointment. The driver showed up on time and was friendly. I will definitely call them for my next trip.

Thought I would try them out for ride to airport - big mistake. I made reservation several days in advance for 5:30AM pickup in Fernandina. They were a no show. Didn't answer phone - nothing. Missed my flight as a result.

I cannot say enough good things about this company. My sister and I spent the week in Fernandina Beach and we exclusively used their service to get around, even to and from the airport. Every driver is polite and on time, however Bill is such a wonderful asset to their company and a complete gentleman. If you need transportation, definitely call them, you won't be disappointed.

I have been using Daniel transportation for several years, and there hasen't been ONCE that they have been on time. They drive sooooo slow both to get you and to drive you to your destination. Furthermore, they are late so consistantly, that i have had countless hours of detentions and suspensions in school. Also, some friends of mine were tryig to move a large party of people 5 miles.

Not only were they incredibly slow, but it cost them an outrageous price. Im writing this as i wait on another very- slow cab to arrive. At this point, im about to have a 2 day suspention from how late i am

My friends and I used Daniel Transportation for my recent visits to Amelia's Island. In total, we booked probably 10 rides with them with mixed results. The good: They always showed up, and did get us to our destination. The vans were functional, clean, didn't break down. The Meh: They were late for all the airport pick-ups. Most of the drivers didn't wear masks.

One driver asked us if we wanted her to wear a mask, and when we said yes, she then couldn't find her mask which was disappointing. They also crammed 8 of us into smaller and smaller vans, first with 7 and then with 6 seats. The bad: Our final trip back to the airport is the reason for the 1 star review. The driver was very friendly. However, she didn't wear a mask, and started bragging half way thru the ride about this really bad cold and cough she'd had for over a week that she couldn't shake.

She assured us it wasn't covid because she was tested a month ago and was vaccinated but obviously in Florida that's not reassuring. Additionally, she clearly was dispatch for the afternoon, and proceeded to take and make up to 20 phone calls during our 45 minute ride, swerving, nearly going off the road and hard breaking many times. Definitely not a safe ride. I take Uber and Lift a fair amount and this was nothing like any of my Uber rides.

Daniel Transportation is the company that really made my trip. The one that the Ritz set me up with was Rays. The second ride he dropped us downtown at 8pm and said he was done for the night and gave us two other services to call. The first one was Affordable and their wait time was over one hour. Daniel transportation was there to get us in record time.

Each time they took us somewhere they came back to pick us up. As a mother of three traveling alone it is important that I feel safe and secure when traveling with my children and Daniels really stepped to the plate. I highly recommend!

Not happy at all. Took the long way back to the Ritz and driver never stopped talking about himself and he was not a safe driver- he used the phone to answer and make calls. Do yourself a favor and call another ride.
