The drivers pack people on their vans and drive dangerously. Your belongings get thrown in the back and the driver doesn't secure the cargo hatch. Our guest's bag fell out of the back cargo hold and the driver, Larry ignored honks from drivers following the van. The owner, Tommy avoids calls and never calls back. Imagine, going on vacation and the transportation company loses your bag and ignores your calls. Skip the Van, call Uber or Lyft and enjoy your time at Mallory Square prior to disembarking for Fire Island. The receptionist are rude and disrespectful the owner and drivers are neglectful. Don't spend your money here!

They are very rude people and the drive was very nasty to me and on top of it they had 5 people in the van with no mask on you people need to have respect for others have a blessed day

I called the night before to set up car from JFK to Fir Island Pines ferry. Woman was pleasant enough. I was told driver would be waiting. Get off plane and no driver. Called dispatchers who claimed no record. Told a car was on way. After 1 hour, called Uber that arrived in 4 minutes and it was much cheaper. Second dispatcher hung up on me. Will never use again. They wonder why we all go to Uber

I called in advance and scheduled a ride to the train station to pick me up at 8:05. I called dispatch at 8:00 to confirm my ride, which was confirmed. I then called at 8:10, when the car hadn't showed up, to see where the car was. Dispatch no longer answered the phone. I called five additional times, all of which garnered no response. I missed the train.

I call a hr ahead no one shows till an hour later. Ridiculous.always he's on the way or he's pulling in now and I'm still waiting for 20 extra minutes. I have been late to work more times than I can count. And drivers often expect a tip. If I didn't have to use these guys at times for rides I wouldn't. Very frustrating

Great experience with Colonial. Another company cancelled my ride to the airport at the last minute, so I had to find new service quick. I called Colonial and Rose was very helpful. Within 5 minutes she had a Town Car on the road to pick me up. Will be using Colonial from now on.

Been using this company for almost 12 years, mainly to and from JFK. Never had a problem going or coming, and the drivers have always been pleasant and timely.

These guys treat the sayville train station parking lot as if they own it. They frequently drive through the lot at a very high rate of speed and today one of their drivers almost hit my car while racing across the lot at an obscene rate of speed. Then the driver had the nerve to curse and belittle me for being in the public parking lot. I wouldn't trust these drivers to wash my car much less drive myself or a loved one. I will be going down to the tlc in the Dennison building tomorrow to file a formal complaint.

I have used Colonial and their private transportation service for 15 years now, and have never had any issues with them or their drivers. They deserve better reviews than what I have read. Will continue to use their services for years to come.

Chuckled at these reviews because I had a very similar experience 15 years ago. I've never used Colonial Limo after they left my wife and I stranded at our wedding reception. The limo driver was great until he forgot to pick us up at the end of the night. Then when we called the dispatcher (who might have been the "wife of the owner" or something like that she said) she yelled and cursed at us.

She made my wife, the bride, cry at the end of her own wedding. Who in the limo business would do that? It was really shocking, and they never, ever apologized. Just say "sorry" - really doesn't take much. My cousin packed us and our stuff into his truck and had to take us home. Honestly if I was older, and not leaving for my honeymoon the next day I would have contacted a lawyer for breach of contract.

But oh well, sounds like they have these issues a lot. Caveat emptor! I most certainly do not recommend them even though my issues were a long while ago, it looks like the issues continue. It's sad really.

We booked a 60th birthday wine tasting tour (Reservation # 36576) to start at 11 am on 8/20/2015 for $650.00 not including driver tip. At 10:50 am the driver called and stated he will be 20-25 late. At 11:30 am I called the company Events Coordinator / Office Manager requesting an update. She starting yelling at me stating they do not have control over traffic or accidents.

I do not enjoy being yelled at so I canceled the Reservation. She yelled at me she was going to charge me for the four pre-order sandwiches. I stated OK and hung-up. I was billed $202.96. I called to question the high charge (I assumed four pre-order sandwiches could not be more than $50) and they started yelling at me again so again I hung-up. For the record the driver showed up at 11:45 am, he was very nice and he stated the Office Manager yells at everyone!
