Il Limoncello Restaurant at the Orange Inn was opened by brothers Luigi and Victor Kapiti in August, 2006. The Kapitis both have over twenty years in the restaurant business and performed a magnificant transformation on what was once a run down inn and restaurant.

They did a great job renovating this place. Looks very sophisticated, and Euro chic. Unfortunately they clearly aren't finished renovating yet, based on the incessant banging noise that continued non stop through our mediocre, overpriced, and way too long meal. And it's not like they were busy. There was only one other table when we sat down at noon on a Wednesday.
If you only have an hour for lunch, or you want value for the price, and an experience worthy of the exorbitant cost. DON'T BOTHER. My experience at Lemoncello was a huge disappointment. Of course your experience may vary. On a good note, the oil for the bread was outstanding. Unfortunately, it was very difficult to get more bread. Usually I would give a place a second chance, eventually, but I don't see that happening any time soon here. There are much better options for good food at way more reasonable prices just a short walk away. Bon appetit

Had never been there, didn't know anything about the restaurant. First time visit. Atmosphere was very elegant and nice. Didn't expect that and was not dressed to match the environment. The service was awful. Just awful. Ordered drinks, took almost 30 minutes. Ordered appetizers took almost 45 minutes. So we just sat waiting.waiting and waiting. The meal also took forever and there was enough help. Very disappointing, will never go back and will not be recommending.

This place is awesome. Came across it the last day of my visit. Bummed. Food, service, atmosphere are all top notch. Such creative and well presented menu items. I dine out a lot and this is one of the best. I only wish I lived closer. (From Florida). If you are within driving distance of this place, do not pass it up. Thanks to the crew for a wonderful dining experience. We will see you again.

Had my birthday celebration with family and was the best experience. Christopher, our head waiter was absolutely amazing! Wouldn't know that he was only there 2 weeks, but would have never known. The entire waitstaff was amazing and friendly, and they all sang happy birthday to me, which was unexpected. The food was incredibly delicious, and everyone loved what they had.
The appetizers, main course and cocktails were all so well prepared. One of the best meals I've ever had - I had the special porterhouse steak, and not one regret! Can wait to come back again. Thanks so much for the great experience!

From there start I had concerns. The hostess agreed us if we had reservations and when we told her no, she frowned and started looking at her availability. Next thing I know, she takes off and after she is half way across the lobby glances over her shoulder and then slows her pace but never gave us an indication we should be following her. We took the slower pace as out queue to follow.
Once seated things got better and the menu was impressive being on an iPad but the prices were definitely high. Orders were placed for drinks and bread was brought out but no butter, only a sauce for dipping. Appetizers were tasty, but I'll spend the next month trying to figure out were they found such small clams! When dinner was delivered, I requested some butter for my baked potato and had finish everything but my potatoes before the butter arrived.
While I ate, I watched the disorganization going on around me. At least four times I watched good come pit and go completely around the room before the maitre d tell the server which table to take it to. For such a high priced place ($142 before tip for a meal for 2 with one appetizer shared and two beers each and a desert) you would think the place would be a little more organized and the hostess would at least say please follow me or this way please.

This place has just been recently remodeled. It was a stunning and magnificent feast for the eyes! We only stopped in for a little Sunday afternoon coffee and dessert, but are most anxious to return for a full dining experience. Food, in the past, has been excellent. We can't wait to see what the new offerings will be. Service for just our little coffees and desserts was top notch.

What a beautiful new setting for the great food you're used to if you loved Limoncello before! You enter to the classy new lounge and stunning bar. The beautiful newly designed dining room has comfy chairs and lots of light, making it very welcoming. There are old favorites in the menu, and interesting new culinary delights. So glad to have them back again!

The renovations alone are stellar in terms of decor and furniture. The reservations were delayed 15 min. The dining room is LOUD. Every table was filled, yet the seating was comfortable. There is no privacy. The noise bounces off of everything. They should consider getting noise buffers. The wait staff was very busy, and seemed understaffed. Something that was persistently occurring throughout our entire experience was a constant dimming and flickering of the light system throughout the restaurant.
It was going on while we were waiting for a table, and throughout our experience of sitting at our table. One server brought over bread and a delicious dip. It was very good. The bread was also very good. Something unexpected was the menus are apple tablets. The last thing I wanted was to look at a screen in a fine dinning restaurant. Fortunately our order was still taken in the traditional way, yet it was still very confusing why it wasn't a printed menu, why the digital tablets in the first place, and wondering who has the money to buy all those tablets, and CHARGE them.
It seemed like a waste of financial and electrical resources and remained a contrast to our expectations of a fine dinning experience. We ordered a side of truffle fries, the Jumbo Shrimp over Risotto, and the Branzino Valentina. The presentation of the fries was very bland. It looked and tasted like fast food french fries with a mild taste of truffle.
Its presentation could have used a little garnish. The waitress stopped by to inform us that our food would be coming out shortly. About 5 min went by, and she returned and repeated the same message, then again a third time after a few minutes. I decided to turn on my stop watch to assess how long it would take. Then the fire drill occurred. The blasting alarms went off in their screeching pitch.
And everyone in the restaurant sat there and carried on. No manager came and spoke with the crowd, no one was told to evacuate, no one was informed as to what was going on. The screeching pitch continued and so did the noise of conversations of the other customers. I evacuated the building, as one should do when not knowing if there was truly a safety issue.
Only one small group of 4 people chose to also leave on their own account. After a few minutes the alarm's sound turned off but alarm lights continued blinking. 5 minutes later a police officer walked into the building. The waitress came out to inform us that the alarms had stopped. I noted that they were still blinking and asked her if it was safe to enter, and commented on the fact that no one was asked to evacuate the building.
She returned to the building then asked if we would like our food to go. We accepted that option. Another waiter came out to check on us. I asked him why people were not asked to evacuate. He mentioned that the owner did not instruct them to. I went inside and approached the owner, and asked him in front of the police offer why people weren't asked to evacuate the building.
He explained that there was smoke in the kitchen that caused it to go off. I asked him if he was an inspector. The police officer interjected saying that he arrived shortly after. I informed the police officer that I saw him enter the building and mentioned that no one was asked to evacuate, and that during our visit the lights were flickering during our entire experience.
He replied, "Why would you say that?" I repeated myself, "Because the lights were." Then, what appeared as an inspector started to tell the owner that this was the "2nd time in a week, first that now this" and that it was unacceptable. I left the building. The server was kind enough to bring out our food and comped our meal, (which was polite). Ignoring the fast-food truffle fries, all other food was excellent. There are some VERY serious management concerns that should be addressed immediately. I'd be willing to return and to change my review, pending that improvements are made.
