Have used them for years but stopped traveling during the pandemic. Recently took a trip and tried to call these guys for an airport pickup after I was already on my trip. They had no record of me and actually asked me to fill out a printable pdf to create a new account. In 2005, an email with a PDF attachment to print out made sense. When I'm traveling in 2022 with a smart phone it seemed like they've missed the boat on digital customer service. I booked my ride with another service (from their app). If I can buy a car from my smart phone, I'm pretty sure they can figure out how to book a ride in one.

I have used this company multiple times per year for the past decade. In this past year, I used them about a dozen times. The service was great at the start, but has deteriorated in the most recent trips. This evening was the worst. We arrived after an extended international travel to find no driver waiting at the arrivals area. We waited about five minutes and was just calling the company about the issue when another waiting driver said there was some driver sitting in the arrivals area.texting.
That was our driver, Ali. He made no apologies for not waiting with a sign, but informed me that he thought it would take us a long time to clear customs.so he chose to sit away from the arrivals gate and become pre-occupied with his cellular. That was the first unfortunate act. When we got to the car, it was a small sedan that could not handle the three of us with our multiple bags, without filling up the trunk, front seat.and with us having to hold our carry-on luggage in our laps. Ali then told me that my reservation was for one person.and that's why they sent a small limo.
I told him that was not possible, that I had booked Classic Limo for the initial trip to the airport.and they confirmed that we had three people with substantial luggage. He then called his boss, who proceeded to tell me that I only requested a car for a single passenger. I then asked Ali to show me a copy of his pickup sheet. The pickup sheet showed that there were three people to pick up (the same as my email confirmation from them).not one as Ali and his manager maintained. Again, no apologies. It's always tough to find new, dependable limits service.especially after a decade of using the same time me.but I am going to do just that. Dan McCranie

We last used El Paseo back in 2016 or so and they were really quite good. On time, polite, handled our luggage with care, and despite the change in schedule coming back due to airplane change times, they were there for us when we arrived. There is nothing like knowing you have a driver waiting for you at the airport after you've been flying for 20 hours. Nothing beats that! Gibby was great. We were very pleased.

We had one of the worst flight experiences ever, but El Paseo Limousine came through for us! We missed a connecting flight due to weather, were re-routed, our baggage was lost, we were sick and hadn't slept in over 24 hours. When we finally staggered off the airplane after midnight, more than 7 hours after our originally scheduled arrival time, our El Paseo driver Ash was right there waiting for us and whisked us home. Thank you El Paseo! I've been using El Paseo for about 15 years and continue to be very happy with their service.

"Limousine Service to Surpass Your Expectations" -- It did surpass - negatively. We will never be using this service again. The positive: great car, nice supervisor/manager who tried to appease us but was essentially powerless. The negative: the ridiculously rushed rude driver who made us run through the airport, and then literally heaved out suitcases onto the sidewalk and just left.
The little that was done to compensate us for the bizarre experience we had with this company's driver. After 18 hours of travel from overseas, we (one adult and one child) arrived at SFO exhausted. We splurged on a car service as we have done before with this company and at times with one other. NEVER have we experienced the odd hurried manner of the driver.
He moved so quickly grabbing our suitcases and walking so fast that he was 40-50ft ahead of us at times, not even bothering to check if we were behind him. We even told him how tired we were but he never slowed down. Dodging other travelers to be able to see where the driver was going was not fun as we lugged our packs while I was coaching my kid to walk faster.
We were never asked if we needed assistance with our carry-on packs, and when we got to the car he opened one side for my kid and looked at me and said "you can get in on the other side" and promptly ignored me to load the suitcases. I was left wondering about the fine service this company says it provides.did I just pay three figures to be told I can get in on the other side?
Apparently I did. Once we reached our house the driver literally heaved the suitcases on the sidewalk in front of the driveway. He didn't even bother to even help roll them to the walkway. Other drivers have brought luggage onto the walkway, even up the stairs onto the porch without being asked to. The driver did not offer a receipt or ask if we wanted one emailed/paper copy and just got in his car and sat there for a few minutes while we hauled our luggage up the driveway and up the stairs.
He was still in the car when my kid rolled the suitcase past the car and tripped falling on top of the suitcase that smacked into the ground. He never got out of the car to help. Tip is included in the cost of the car, but we always add an additional tip because living in the Bay Area is hard and when we get good service we try to be appreciative.
We did not tip our driver in this case. After calling to explain our dissatisfaction, we were refunded the driver's tip. Which was a teeny part of the overall cost. I called again to say that didn't really make up for the terrible experience and was told there would be follow up but there was not. Why should this company care when there is so much money in the Bay Area.
On to the next sucker.so if you want the luck of the draw and to spend a lot of money to be treated poorly by an odd duck driver go ahead and use this company. Frankly, we should have used Lyft or Uber - it would have been half the cost and we could have taken the time getting to the car, attached our carry-on bags to the rolling luggage, and saved more than half the cost of this ride. A disappointing end to a fabulous vacation.

Horrible experience on a party bus to a wedding last weekend. It was the hottest day of the year and the air conditioning didn't work A guest next to me almost passed out and I had to provide water and ice packs (thank god I brought some to have at the venue but used them on the bus instead). The driver didn't know the onramp to 17 at North Santa Cruz was closed (as it had been all summer and why the bride changed the pick up place) so we had to circle around in the town of Los Gatos easily taking an additional 15 minutes and arrived at 4:59 for a 5:00 wedding.
On top of that he cut the turn into Byington Winery too close and 2 guests had to get out and stand next to the hot bus to try and direct him to back up--onto Bear Creek Road. It was a bit scary as we were no more than 6 inches from a tree--all the while the wedding is about to start. After we finally arrive soaked in sweat and a bit nauseous, the driver was rude when we departed the bus complaining it was a horrible trip for him too.
I think there are better options out there. Sometimes things don't go right and it's how the customer service is handled. In this case--horribly. Bottom line: equipment issue, operational issue, driver not skilled, poor customer service.

Rented two 40 person passenger busses for a wedding last weekend. It happened to be the hottest day ever with temps over 105 in San Jose. The wedding guests arrived to the wedding location in the Santa Cruz Mts melted. THERE WAS NO AIR CONDITIONING! For the unbelievable price we paid, we should have a working bus! I will never rent from them again, they placed our family and friends in an unsafe and uncomfortable situation.

I have used this company for 16+ years but they are so far away from the service they used to provide. I'm finding now they are outsourcing to other companies, those drivers are less than top notch and appearance and driving skills are not what they should be. When booking for an out of town pickup they do not give the company your details so if you can't find them, then you have to call back to El Paseo and wait for them to make contact.
There are new carousels at SFO for 60-70 gates. tho by now over a year. Driver never looks to see which gate and waits always at same escalator even tho I've mentioned to them at least 5 times. I'm done with them and will never use them again. I gave one star as it wouldn't let you leave none.

My co workers and I got a nice work-cation provided for us through our company. Being that the trip was in Napa, CA we decided to get a limousine service to take us from point A to point B. A lot of us were supper excited as we have never taken an executive vans as nice as the one we were assigned to. When climbing on, everything looked amazing! The van had a clean feel to it, had black reclining leather seats, a T.V, a pretty nice sound system.
They also provide an ice chest with water and soda as well. Which came in handy to store our champagne and orange juice for our morning mimosas. The first driver was pretty nice, she was supper sweet and accommodating her name was Kathy. We all loved her, She seemed a bit shy at first but once we got the party started she opened up. When we were about to leave, we tried a decent amount of time to get the DVD player to work due to the fact we were all ecstatic to drink and watch a funny romantic comedy on the way. That's where things started to downfall :(, We had a take off time at 8 and didn't end up leaving until about 8 40ish because we were trying so hard to make this device work, and it just was not working out in our favor. ( HEY HEY, don't go blaming Kathy now! she did her best to get the TV to work, and when she called for help the main office didn't seem to do much of assisting her.
The ride was also a tad bumpy like the van needed some serious suspension work. We had a tiny girl riding with us and she got some pretty decent air each time we hit a patchy area on the freeway. Besides those 2 main things I don't think there was many other things to complain about. However. The ride back was probably the complete opposite of the ride up.
Our driver nicely texted when he had arrived. We then had a huge issue with the television and DVD player working once again. When I called the company that morning at 8 AM to make sure they fixed the issue before bringing the van back, and she who must not be named assured me that the complication would be solved. Which of course you can guess it didn't!
To top it off I'm not sure if they allowed someone else to rent the van out that weekend, because it smelt like old throw up in the back of the van. We were obviously hung over, and having to deal with the bumpy car ride, and the smell of somebodies unfortunate, non self controlled regurgitation incident the previous night was no walk in the park.
I would have expected more seeing all the positive things yelper's have to say about them, but it seems as though every experience is different. This trip with El PASEO was definitely an experience of a life time, but I don't think we will be using their services come another work-cation.

First class service all around; from the very first phone call I made to them to the final farewell from the driver as he dropped us off at home. We booked El Paseo for airport transportation to and from SFO. I gave the number of travelers, estimated pieces of luggage, flight info, and they took care of everything else. We made it to the airport with plenty of time and they met us exactly where they said they would meet us upon our return. Fantastic experience!

It's funny that I'm doing this review while sitting here waiting for my flight again. I travel so much I hate it! A little while back VMware booked El Paseo to drop me off at SFO. My driver Jaswant was very friendly. He didn't take the route I usually take to the airport in traffic but his route got us there 10-15 minutes quicker than I would've got there. Yay! Now only if my company would book me a Tesla :

STEER CLEAR OF THIS ESTABLISHMENT You have got to be nuts to use this company when there are so many competitors out there who are vastly superior. El Paseo Limousine is unprofessional in almost every way (from customer service to scheduling to billing and so on and so forth). Just check the other reviews below. So many one stars, it's astounding.

My mom used this company all the time and recommended them to me when she refused me a ride to the airport at 4:00 am. When I called to make the appointment, the girl was very friendly, and sent me my confirmation email with a quote immediately. They required a card to hold the reservation and the trip was worth the cost. The quote included the gratuity into the cost.
The company called a day in advance and sent a reminder email to confirm my travel arrangements. The guy arrived 15 minutes early to pick me up, which is definitely something you would rather have when you're depending on someone else for a ride. The car was very clean inside and out with a water bottle available in the cup holder and the driver was dressed very professionally.
He was very nice but didn't talk much on the drive, but it was 4:00 in the morning and I was rather tired so I didn't mind. Paid with my card directly to the driver, he unloaded my bags, and wished me a safe trip. Very lovely experience and I definitely recommend this company and plan to use them in the future.

Yesterday was my retirement celebration and we rented a limo from El Paseo. The Limo was Beautiful, spacios and clean. All parties felt the Driver Jeff Earnest was very helpful and professional. We all would use El Paseo again for any special occasion. Keep up the good service and thanks for making my day EXTRA special!

I'm in an executive van on my way home to San Jose from a Giants game with 10 senior managers from my department. Everything was perfect with El Paseo Limousine; I would not hesitate to use them again. Set it all up via phone/email with Donna, she made everything so easy. Our driver was Eddie, and he was on time and patient. Everyone I dealt with was very friendly and professional. Bonus: Eddie had a cooler stocked with ice and some soft drinks for us, which was an unexpected treat.

I booked El Paseo last month for a bacherlorette party and we did a wine tour in the Santa Cruz area. We all had SUCH A blast, the limo was spacious and fit our needs, and the chauffeur has great winery recommendations and never got lost (which ive had happen a few times!). Its always nice to have everything go smoothly when planning a big day for someone-so thank you!

Wow. Just wow! What a great experience! After the debacle of the $150 cab ride from SFO to San Jose - I looked elsewhere for transportation - this time from the hotel back to the airport. Our work lined up El Paseo - I called and made a reservation - charge was $98. I scheduled the service for 9:00 am - I went down to the lobby of the hotel at 8:30 am and lo and behold - they were already there waiting for me! Ernest was the name of my driver - a really polite, professional and all around nice guy.
After putting my stuff in the trunk - Ernest pulled a bottle of cold water out of a cooler in the trunk and handed it to me. He advised me there was free Wifi internet access in the car. Ernest was a super nice guy - he is Filipino - we talked most of the ride about the Philippines, Filipino food, ethnic foods, spicy foods, hot peppers, and more. Ernest is one of these guys who has a super positive and uplifting attitude about the world - about life.
It was very refreshing. It was one of those fun conversations you have with someone in your travels that was fun and memorable. I believe the gratuity was included in the $98 - but I tipped Ernest $20 - the best airport ride I've ever had!
