Thank you to the wonderful staff at Excel Fleet Limo from Evelyn with her timely emails and great communication. To Michael the man of the hour who drove our teenage daughter and friends while they were going to winter formal. My daughter said he was kind and was prompt when picking them up after their dinner. Because of their professionalism and punctuality, we will become repeat customers!

Worst customer service from a woman that obviously forgot take her morning meds. Simple question asked of her "where is your office located?" Had to ask more than once, at which she kept responding if I need to take a look at the car then usually so and so needs to be here. That wasn't why I was asking and still she wouldn't answer and asked who's wanting to know in a very rude tone.
My response "a customer who's interested in renting a limo". Really, who else would I be and what does it matter?". Her rude response and started yelling at me and said "why are you getting angry why is it such a mystery!" My response, wow you're definitely not getting my business and hung up. The owner of this "company" should get rid of this crazy woman that you have working for you.
If this is the service received on the phone, imagine if I actually had a booking with this company? Not a chance would I ever book with this company and my recommendation to whoever is thinking about it is to take your business elsewhere!

My family had initially planned an outing two days after the federal shutdown. When we had to postpone, Evelyn was very understanding and professional. We were finally able to reschedule to last night and Evelyn was very helpful and a pleasure to work with. She provided confirmations all the way up to the morning of. Our driver, Michael, arrived a little earlier than scheduled which was the perfect amount is time to load items and settle paperwork so we were on our way at the departure time.
He was friendly and professional and was there as he had promised when we needed fo be picked up. Our destination had a very non-limo friendly parking lot but you should've seen him do some strategic driving to make it happen! Was very happy with the service from beginning to end and we all had a great time.

Dealt with Evelyn on the phone and she was 100% professional and accommodating especially considering my rental was super last minute. Tony was our driver and he also was fantastic! Had such a great experience with Excel Fleet Limo from the very beginning! Evelyn took her time Going through the pricing and limo options with me, I had questions and she was patient and answered them all! Also they confirmed the arrival time and al information the night before, which made me feel good about the event the next day! The limo and driver arrived on time, and the driver was beyond helpful throughout the entire time of the event!
When we were done at American doll, the limo promptly arrived at the pick up location to grab us! So thankful I found Excel Fleet Limo for my future limo needs! Heading to Temecula in March for wine tasting. I know who I will be calling!

I rented the Chrysler 300 / Rolls Royce back in Aug. Chofer was awesome and easy to work with, great competitive pricing. The lady that answers the phone is truly east to talk to and very upfront. Car had a great Bluetooth sound system and lights. Plenty of ice and beverages. I highly recommend them for limo service

Evelyn was professional and friendly. She listened to what I needed, provided solid options, and her follow up was timely. The driver (Ricardo) was on time, good driver, and interacted with everyone. Overall, it was a great night and great experience. The pressure of a great night was removed because they handled everything so well. I would use their service again.

RUDE! This person "Evelyn" has been the person I've been emailing with and her last email pissed me off. She had the audacity to write "How much did you think it would be?" Don't come at me that way. If it's a language barrier thing, then check yourself. but if you wanna be rude, I fuckin expected to pay for the amount of time I needed the fuckin service which is literally a 30min drive, not a full fuckin 3hrs because it takes your driver 2.5hrs to get from the garage and back.
I frankly don't need your fuckin attitude nor do I need your service. I've already found 3 other limo services (if I needed 3hrs) that costs cheaper than this Excel Fleet company. And yes, I'm pissed. No one should EVER talk to a customer that way, even if it's just an inquiry.

Update to my original review in 2016. Excel Fleet Limo still gets 5 stars from me! I have now been using Excel for 3 years to plan an annual day trip out to Temecula for wine tasting. Evelyn in the office is always so friendly & makes the booking process so smooth & easy! I will continue to use this company for my future limo/transportation needs and highly recommend them to anyone who needs this service.

BEWARE: EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING. ISSUE 1 of 5: When we arrived and loaded into the limo, we immediately turned on the air conditioner as it was a very hot day. The air conditioner was awful and we were all sweating and fanning ourselves the entire drive from Huntington Beach to San Clemente. When bringing up this concern to the limo company, they simply stated it was record heat and that the limos only do well if it's 90 degrees or less.
It was 85 degrees. So keep that in mind if you're booking on a hot day. (Still not what you expect when you spend nearly $1,000 on a LUXURY (HA) limo service). ISSUE 2 of 5: There was no ice as promised. So we had warm, iceless, cocktails in a hot ass limo. (We aren't quitters, what can we say?;)) ISSUE 3 of 5: They actually don't drive, I know, it's weird.
We were told we were reserving it for the entire 7 hours, with flexibility to make another trip in that time frame if we wanted. I even called and confirmed this a second time the day of. SO, Since we had 18 in our party, 4 of our guests needed to leave earlier, still allowing plenty of time for them to be taken home and returned within the contracted time.
Prior to even requesting that the 4 guests be taken home, we requested the driver to take us to a local store for ICE (They kinda owe that to us, right?) and well, she said no. Becuase she didn't want to move the limo. And parking (we had cones sectioning off the spot, sooooo. huh?) We were even pre-prepared with this extra large parking spot READY and had our family save it for the limo upon arrival. Makes no sense.
So since she wouldn't move it, our two groups of 2 took separate ubers home and incurred that extra cost for it. ISSUE 4 of 5: They gave us their employee's name and number to ask for part of our 20% tip back, when we called the company to complain. How is that part of the solution? Actually, it's the most unprofessional and appalling thing I have ever witnessed.
Let me rewind, and tell you that we called and complained very politely, that was our first step, and we asked that we kindly be reimbursed for part of the service. We had a pleasant conversation, and acknowledgement of our concerns, and were told we would be contacted. When we were contacted, we were met with a mere $78 refund request, for a 1/2 hour of time.
We requested $200, in an effort to reimburse the two ubers (2 x $40), and in light of all the circumstances mentioned above, we should be refunded at least an additional hour, which is actually worth over $200--we felt we had a very fair request of $200. SO, upon stating that we would not have tipped the driver so greatly had we known this was going to be the case, (because you are required to tip the driver upon arrival. Also, unprofessional, but I get it.
We didn't fight it, we just trusted and tipped generously over 20%), they told us to contact the driver if we had an issue with tip. We would never, ever do that, we were proving the point of how slighted we felt upon their broken promises. ISSUE 5 of 5: Management refuses to call or speak to us, or negotiate past the $78 half-hour fee. So, we yelp that shit. We understand that things happen, and it was a hot, hot day, but these are all facts of what happened, not opinion. My recommendation is to use any company but.

I can 100% say that we will never use this limo service again. For all the pomp and posh that Excel Fleet markets, you will undoubtedly be extremely disappointed. We were promised a luxury Escalade limo for $1000. What we were met with, in actuality, was an outdated limo with no working air, no ice, promises/expectations regarding driver pickups that were unfulfilled, and an atrocious customer service response. We are a very easy group to please. We literally complain about nothing, but this I can't stay quiet on. BUYER BEWARE. Yuck.

It started out a lot of fun! After about 15 minutes and some drinks we were on our way! They limos ac was not adequate to keep our entire party from sweating and all the ice buckets had only melted ice. : We were very limited on our options to keep ourselves cool! This was a hot day in so cal so this luxury ride wasn't so luxurious on a hot day!

I rented the spacious limo (12-14 )for my boyfriends birthday 30th. The limo was pretty outdated on the inside the sound was bad blasting from out dated speakers. We couldn't really enjoy the music at a nice level with out it be distorted. So beware. The limo driver's phone wasn't working so he said he wasn't able to answer the phone when we were ready to get picked up from a location.
The limo driver had a girl in the passenger seat with the driver maybe thats why he didn't respond quickly. The limo driver spent a lot of time driving around the spot where we wanted to be dropped off. All in all it wasn't the fabulous night I had imagined. ******Word of advice check the year of the limo and make sure the driver will answer his phone and has no girl riding with him shot gun. Don't get played or be fooled.

Evelyn and Norma were terrific! High praise for excel fleet limo! Evelyn was a great help reserving my party bus for my sisters bachelorette party in the Temecula Wine Valley. She was a great communicator through the whole process and remedies any concerns I had. Her follow through was impeccable. Norma was our driver, and she was just as lovely! She kept us on track to make it to all three locations and arrive home within our allotted amount of time. She was fun, super sweet and understanding throughout. Thanks again, Norma and Evelyn!
