I don't know what took me so long but I am finally writing a review. I have used Matt for about 4 years now and he has always done a great job. I relied on his service for our important company functions and he has never let us down. He is very flexible and communication is always top notch. I feel that he doesn't take advantage and prices are always very fair. He will always be our choice for business and personal transportation needs.

We used A Cut Above for my husband's bachelor party as well as on our wedding day. Both experiences were awesome! The driver was early on both occasions, was extremely professional and most importantly, friendly. The cars were very well kept and had a comfortable and nice interior. We will definitely use A Cut Above the next time we need this type of transportation.

Called up Matt two days before an improptu bachelor party for my friend getting married (no alcohol involved), and he was able to get me a hummer limo for half the price of all the other places I called. I booked him right away. We had an amazing night and filled up our limo with almost 20 guys. we don't drink (or go to clubs, most of us were happily married men), we just went out for a ride through san francisco, ate dinner at a spot in the tenderloin, drove around a bit more while toasting/roasting our friend and had a blast! until the next time. thanks again Matt!

Short and sweet. Matt and A Cut Above Limo are the best! I had researched over a dozen companies using Yelp and selected ACAL. Matt and Sheldon were very responsive to all of my questions, emails, calls, etc. for transporting our daughter and her friends up to The City for her 16th bday celebration. Matt arrived at our home on time and brought us up for photo ops at the base of the Bay Bridge and Palace of Fine Arts.

He then took us to Calzone's for dinner and Ghiradelli for dessert. Every aspect of the experience was great. He was great to work with and very accommodating with our needs. My daughter and her friends were thoroughly impressed and in awe when the super clean and long white Hummer rolled up! We will definitely use them again for the next celebration, etc.!

I used this limo service for my daughter's 16th surprise birthday celebration. Phil was our driver. He picked us up right on time. It was a surprise so he picked everyone up and then drove to our house to pick up the birthday girl. Then on to AT&T park for the Giants game. Phil was very friendly and accommodating. He took care of 15 teenage girls without a hitch. Everyone home safe now. Giants won. A perfect day. I would recommend this company to serve your needs.

Booking this company was the biggest source of stress I experienced during my entire wedding process! I booked them about 6 months in advance (wedding was in July) and had given a deposit and everything. 2 weeks prior to the wedding, I figured I should check in to make sure everything was still good. I first emailed Matt.no response. I then tried calling him.wasn't able to leave a message.

I then tried texting him.no response. At this point, I was a week away from my wedding, and I was freaking out. After several text message and phone call attempts, I had to bite the bullet and book elsewhere. Fast forward to after the wedding, I tried to contact Matt again in order to demand my deposit back. I called him and he actually picked up!

Without going into too much detail about the phone call, he basically gave me some really inappropriate/unprofessional advice about not getting married unless I'm absolutely sure I'm in it for the right reasons.like what?!? Who says that to a client who just got married?! At this point, my job as a therapist kicked in, because I could have gone off on this guy about his unprofessionalism, but rather encouraged him to seek support, knowing that if he didn't, his business would go under.

He thanked my for the advice and apologized for the inconvenience. He then promised to give me my deposit back - which took about 2 weeks. Basically, it seems as though Matt has been experiencing some personal issues (which I get - we all do), but it has obviously affected his clients. I would most definitely not recommend him to anyone who is looking for someone who is reliable and professional.

I confirmed service on November 16, 2015 for November 21, 2015 Pick up 6 girls in San Ramon for my daughters 21st birthday for a 5 hour trip to Napa. On the 21st they were a no show I called and text with no reply. We used a phone from out of town and FUNNY they answered SAID HE NEVER RECEIVED A CONFIRMATION FROM ME I had the text with the confirmation and provided it to him.

He then said I will see what I can do and get back to you we waited until 1:00pm called text again from both of our phones with no answer or return text. HE MESSED UP MY DAUGHTERS 21st BIRTHDAY DONT USE THIS COMPANY

My 30th Birthday was Amazing( 10/10/2015) having Cut above limo service, This company provides outstanding customer service, the limo was on time very clean, beautiful inside and out, and my driver gene was awesome. We used A Cut Above Limo last week and couldn't be happier with the service. We were able to book a Hummer a week in advance for a very reasonable price! Sebastian was our driver and couldn't be nicer. We will definitely be using the service and recommend to all our friends and family.

I have used "A cut above limo" few times in the past for my personal and business event. The service is FANTASTIC and the pricing is very reasonable. The driver's are always nice, cars are very clean. I defiantly will use again. Keep up with the GOOD WORK.

We rented a limo from A Cut Above Limo this past weekend for a Girl's Night Out and had a good experience. Pros: owner gave honest feedback about which limo was most safe and appropriate, rates were competitive, on time service, our driver Ken was FANTASTIC and flexible with the asks of our large party, the limo was clean and spacious. Areas of growth: company could use administrative support to keep up with inquiries and timely responses, the limo's air condition unit seemed to not operate properly and it was unusually warm the night we rented the limo, the limo sound system should be upgraded with better speakers and offering complimentary ice and water bottles would be a nice touch.

I would use the service again and ask a few more questions at the time of reservation. I enjoy supporting small local businesses whenever I can and I'm certain this business will grow if they consider feedback openly. Good company!

Absolutely terrible customer service. Very unprofessional. If you want to keep loyal customers, then provide customer service that makes you seem desirable to do business with. Promises were made, promises were not kept. 5 e-mails ignored. WHOEVER IS READING THIS: Go ahead and use them, but if something goes wrong, don't expect to get your money back or a reply after constantly e-mailing for your money for 3 weeks straight.

Why haven't I heard of them before?! I rented the 14 passenger excursion last night for my boyfriends birthday party from the east bay to sf. Our driver showed up 20 minutes early in a nice dress shirt and slacks (I think his name was willie) and he was so nice and accommodating. He waited for us while my whole group arrived and made sure we knew how to work the iPod music adapter, lights, and air before we boarded the limo.

He dropped us off in sf and hung out around the corner while we bar hopped. When we were ready to go to a new place, I would just call him and he was there in less than 5 minutes.pretty impressive when your driving a stretch SUV limo in crazy sf traffic. He got us where we needed to go very quickly with no questions asked or directions needed. I give willie 5 stars for being such a cool guy and dealing with us singing obnoxiously loud in the back of the limo and then taking us for a late night jack in the box run!

As for the reservation process - I got an AMAZING deal and the owner Matt was super friendly, quick, and got my confirmation details to me within 5 minutes of our phone call. My entire reservation process took 10 minutes tops. It was so easy and quick I was thinking it was almost too good to be true. I will definitely use A Cut Above again for any limo service I may need again in the future. Thanks for making my boyfriends birthday a great time and getting everyone home safe. :-)
