NYC Luxury Limo Service

As you know if you are looking for a car service in NYC, there are a billion options and it can be hard to truly find out what the cost is for point-to-point service. I really appreciated the fact that the online booking service for Luxor is VERY transparent about each charge. They show you the breakdown of car, tax, gratuity, toll, covid, etc. Luxor might be a couple of dollars more than other less car services but I enjoyed having peace of mind with knowing everything up front.

Our driver, Norihisa Mori, arrived early, masked and gloved, and did a great job navigating the exiting crowds of the Brooklyn Mirage. Highly recommend if you prefer online booking, transparency in cost and professional drivers.

Update - we used Luxor again and just as before they were fantastic. Manual and Fahad were the most awesome drivers. We learned so much about them and the area as they drove us too and from the city. They were genuinely awesome people, the kind you would hire in a heartbeat if you could afford a personal driver. If you are coming to NYC you want one of these 2!

I choose Luxor for our trip to NYC. Their website and booking process was very easy, set up 2 trips very quickly, received a confirmation email and was done. As we were in the air I received the email with the driver and car specifics and that they were on their way. As I walked off the plane I received the text that he was there and ready for us. Picked up our bags, walked out the door and he was right there waiting.

He loaded our bags, no paperwork, no signing anything just quick tutorial on the entertainment/climate system. Very nice, new, clean Lincoln vehicles, loaded with ice, water and soft drinks for us. They also did a great job getting in and out of Times Square quickly and efficiently.

I tried booking 3 times with this company. They said my credit card was declined. I call AMEX several times and they kept telling me it was not declined. Then Luxor kept charging me over and over. The luxor people are RUDE and not helpful. I would recommend walking to your destination then using them. They don't even deserve 1 star

We used this service twice getting an SUV for 4 of us and luggage. The drivers were early and waiting for us, safe driving- not distracted, the price included the toll roads. While I found the price a bit pricey, it was great service in very clean vehicles and it was an all inclusive price unlike some of the other car services and was worth the price. It was a high quality ride. They confirmed via email and phone, and were responsive to emails and calls as needed. I'll use them again when I'm in New York.

Well short story! I paid$293 for a service I never got; it felt like a $30 uber ride. The driver was late! The Meet & Greet service was never there. The flowers I ordered were so ugly it could not be used for a funeral; so we left it in the car. As you can see by the previous comments this is not a company you want or should use if you want a high class / quality service. The people were very admin the days previous to the ride. That's all they care, to get paid high for low class service.

Driver was great However I requested a black limo and confirmed three different times that it was going to be black. lo and behold it was white. I HATE being lied to!

I had experience with Luxor last weekend - it was the first time I was enjoying a stretch limo ride. It was my cousin's wife celebration so she took couple of us for a great night out around the city and we ended up having a beautiful drive alongside the coast. Everything was great, but I give them a full-mark review because we forgot some personal belongings in the vehicle and they were retrieved right away after the chauffeur found them and contacted us. Great proffesionals

We used Luxor recently for our trip to midtown NYC from JFK. We were met at, and delivered to, JFK on time. The drivers were very professional, skilled at traffic, and excellent all around. Additionally, the office staff were friendly and very helpful, and made me feel comfortable with all arrangements and changes to the itinerary. Most importantly, the service was well worth the price. Thank you.

If i could give this company 0 stars i would. Charged my credit card an extra 500 they have terrible customer service and scammers. Ps here's some advice Find another limo company

Can I give 0 stars? They actually lied to our credit card company to try and get us to pay them! They are so stupid because we saved all our email correspondence with them. Hello. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE! They must pay off magazines to rate them as top notch. Which they r not! They are the worst

This is our fourth time to use Luxor and once again it was fantastic. They're the only company we use in NYC. Great drivers, excellent customer service, modern and well cared for fleet of cars. Love the fact that we can include our driver's tip in the initial payment. You can't go wrong with Luxor. On this trip it took a lot longer than expected because of awful traffic.

Our driver was courteous and conversational on the trip and didn't seem put out by the length of the trip back to JFK. Also - their fleet is the best. All of their cars and SUV's are luxury. I've used a budget car service once in NYC and it was awful. You get what you pay for - use Luxor.

We arrived 3 hours late. They tracked our flight and picked us up when we came in. We called when we landed and he was a block away (he can't wait at the Airport) had our name in the front window. Didn't waste anytime getting our luggage loaded and getting us to our hotel. Eli was a great driver!

We had to switch between the flights, because the weather conditions were extremely unsuitable. Called the company to let them know about the timing of our arrival, but they took care of it anyway as they were keeping track of our flight. As soon as we landed on JFK, there was a notification from our chauffeur regarding the pick up. He was very punctilious and the interior of the car was as presented on their website. I would say a perfect cooperation from Luxor - and on top of it all, they even proposed taking care of our transport on the way back home.

Car Service does its job I hired a sedan and driver to take us from our home in the Hudson Valley to JFK. The car was clean and nice, the driver pleasant, but he didn't just drive forward and back, but also from side to side! As in, he kept switching lanes on the Thruway and playing "chicken" with other drivers who he declared were trying to "cut him off".

I was vomiting by the time we got to the airport. So, beware driver Steve. And we were in plenty of time for the plane--it's not like he had to race the clock. Also, we could have lived without his stoner stories. Then, four weeks later, came home with another driver. Car was beautiful, he took care to get my specific soda and snack, I really liked the driver--but my impression was that he had never driven outside of NYC and Long Island.

Although he was very professional, he didn't know that my drop-off address was 3 hours away from pickup! No one had warned the poor guy! So all right, I got what I needed, but I don't think very much of the company. If I can get another car service next time, I will.

Very bad and not accurate as it says! I booked for a big vehicle with "meet and greet services"! There was no one at all! I called them to find out! I was told "sorry we don't have this service today"

If I could put less than one star I would. 400$ ride to the airport. Driver shows up at 450pm for a 415 pm reservation. They tell me when I ask for the free ride they so proudly display on their website that clearly states 15 min late =free ride. that that doesn't matter and they'd give me 40$ off. I gave them a hard time cause I want them to make right on their business and give me the ride for free.

They laugh at me then say okay 100$ off. And then they start with the excuses. Traffic etc. none of that is anyone's problem but the company providing the service. I would NEVER recommend using this service. The car wasn't in good condition the driver was messy and laughed when I said I wasn't paying. Very very poor service. BEWARE DO NOT PAY WITH CARD BEFORE HAND. They will rob you as they did me.

I was not happy with my driver. He showed up on time and the car itself we fine. But, his driving was appalling. He consistently exceeded the speed limit a few times getting up to 100mph and always at least 20 mph over the limit. He recklessly wove in and out of traffic and he continually was tailgating. I had to reprimand him twice and tell him I was not comfortable with his driving. I was really scared most of the trip. Really bad! You're fired!

Used Luxor for a limo from LGA to NY this morning and they were great. The driver Nader was excellent. Used them to send someone to Newark airport this evening. The driver Jose Rafael came in a stretch limo and wouldn't bring it down the narrow street (that other limos regularly come down) so waited in the main street - without letting me know.

Then when I walked to the main street and found him he started shouting at me about the size of his vehicle and how he had earlier parked across the front of the lane and the doorman had of course told him to move as he was blocking it - as if it was my fault. Shame that one guy makes such a bad impression on a company

We rented a 36 passenger from 6:30am till way past 9pm. Our driver was Ernesto. He arrived on time, was very courteous. The bus was very clean and looked brand new. The road conditions were bad where we were going (Hunter Mountain) due to the weather (a full on snow blizzard) but he was pretty good on the road. The reason I'm giving this a 4 is because I had called Luxor MULTIPLE times to let them know we wanted a vehicle with wi-fi. They assured me MULTIPLE times we would get one. We didn't get one.

We have received wrong vehicle upon airport pick up contacted main phone they said manager will call back never heard from them again! This company is full of Liars! They will not help you even they made mistake! I don't recommend!

My brand new S550 Mercedes was so comfortable and my driver FEMA was amazing. Will be using him again to take me home to LA First class service all the way

My family and I used Luxor Limo from LGA into the city and back (at 4 am!) - and the experience was fantastic! The 8-passenger cars we were picked up in were clean and smelled fresh, the drivers were courteous and on-time (which was most important to us) and the price was exactly what they quoted - including the tip. When we return to NYC, we will definitely be calling Luxor Limo. Even their online reservation system functioned perfectly. I have nothing but positive things to say about this company. Thanks for the ride!

Professional and great service. The website can be a little troublesome but live on the phone fixes it all. Clean cars. Will keep using them for work and private rides.

SO glad I ended up using Luxor! I just wanted to treat someone with a town car to take them to dinner for a significant birthday, and found Luxor online. I made the reservation on their website, and communicated completely via email. Their customer service is outstanding -- I had to make a few changes to my reservation, and they responded quickly and efficiently, keeping in communication regularly as well.

Our driver was early, and I received a text letting me know where he was. He was super nice, and the car was spotless and very comfortable. I also felt that it was a reasonable price, particularly having compared to other companies. I will definitely use this company again and highly recommend them!

On a difficult day--snow, St. Patrick's--the driver was to the minute, and courteous, and helpful. The car was clean, and wholly presentable--SUV, since we did not need a "limo". My wife, the passenger to JFK, who expects the impeccable service of her native Austria, was pleased. The back office is easy to deal with, and pleasant, and well-organized. Price seems to me very reasonable. This will be our car company from now on.

I recently used Luxor Limo for an all-day work event. I shopped around the NYC area for competitive pricing and Luxor was definitely willing to compromise on pricing. I spoke with Anthony, who was able to give me 10% off the deal. I booked only a week in advance with no issues. We got the 24 passenger minibus for 12 hours. We traveled round-trip to / from NYC, to a few different stops upstate New York.

Our total price was $1900, which included tolls, tip, and tax! This was also a selling point compared to other companies I called. The bus was spotless! So comfortable. It looked brand new. There was an amazing sound / tv system. This bus had limo-type seating in the back, and the front of the bus had 3 tables with 4 captain seats. So spacious and comfortable.

The bus also came stocked with bottled water, canned soda, and ice buckets for other food or beverages. The driver was also courteous and drove safely. An A+ experience. Will definitely book again for our next big event!

We booked a White Cadillac Escalade Stretch Limo (max. 20 people) for our wedding! The conditions of the limo was good inside and outside. I especially like the lighting in the car. We changed our original plans due to the weather; the driver was flexible and managed to find the new direction from GPS in an efficient manner. His English was not perfect and I could see the company has provided a good training to him. It was an amazing & beautiful experience!

I have used Luxor Limo for three separate trips to NYC. Each time the drivers were professional and courteous. It is easy to book your travel with Luxor. I appreciated getting an email to confirm my reservation which included the name of the driver, the plate number, model of vehicle, and the driver's cell number prior to travel. (Handy when you are traveling alone) On the last trip I had the pleasure of having Mohammed and Robert drive me. Both did an excellent job. I would definitely use Luxor again.

Pros: Driver was waiting when I got off the plane. Got upgraded to a Escalade. Cons: Driver never spoke one word to us. Walk to the car and never tuned around to see where we were. I also ordered a differnt car for my friend who was coming in at a diffferent time who had a great driver, who was very friendly. I would give them another chance next time i am in the city.

I ordered a limo for my daughter's function in 2 months. I was given my reservation number by the person I talked to. I was also told to fill out the authorization form, and fax copies of my credit card and license. I did as asked but the fax did not go through 3 times. I called the company and got another number, that one did not work either.

Today I got an email asking for the same authorization form. I emailed the issue so they told me to screenshot my License, Credit card copies with the form. What? Who does that. Why would I send my info via the Internet to this company at this point. Not at all identity secure. I called to tell them I had to cancel. The gentleman told me there was a 25% cancellation fee.

He told me that he would not charge me, I guess at that point they did not get my info in the first place. What a shame, they seemed like a professional company. To update: the company cancelled the order with no issue.

I had an excellent experience reserving a limo with Luxor Limo from beginning to end. After reading the reviews on various sites including this one, I decided on a last minute reservation (late at night with less than 24 hours to go). I took advantage of the 24 hour service and loved all of the confirmation email updates that I received. My driver, Bruce, picked me up from Newark and I couldn't have asked for a more pleasant and courteous driver on my ride into Manhattan! He was awesome! I would definitely recommend Luxor Limo because they were extremely organized and delivered great service with a great and friendly driver.

Excellent experience with Luxor Limo. We had a day trip to NYC and needed transportation from and to airport. Our travel plans changed after booking, but courteous reservation staff was accommodating to the changes. Drivers were professional and arrived ahead of scheduled pickup time. We even received a free vehicle upgrade. We will definitely use them again
